Difficult to get in and out

Very difficult to get in and out because it does not have a shelf around the top. Really liked our prior Sovereign tub. It had a small shel to sit on to get in and out. It also had a place to stand up to get out. Guess I am not a fan of the Jetsetter. I am sorry we purchased it.

We want to make sure that all of our spa owners feel comfortable getting in and out of the tub.
There is an optional spa accessory that you can add. It is called a handrail. It swivels to assist in going in and out of the spa.
Your dealer will be able to give you more information about it.

My wife and I will start our 6th. spring with our Jet Setter. Though rated for 3, it is the perfect spa for 2. At the expense of jinxing myself, we have only experienced one issue: a small leak which was quickly repaired by the dealer while the unit was still under warrant.
The foam neck support is being replaced due to mold that we can't remove.
For us, water chemistry is simple as only the 2 of us use the spa and we are always without clothing when we enjoy the spa.

This hot tub makes you feel so much better! The joint paint and stiff joints are eliminated with a 15 minute soak in the tub. After getting out, you feel like everything has been loosened up (like the Tin Man has been oiled).
Wonderful purchase with great health benefits!

We replaced our former 2005 Jetsetter with a new 2018 Jetsetter JJ .
I was happy to see the exterior materials were made with vinal /non wood.
The former spa was badly damaged by termites and had also developed a leak in the embedded internal piping. The leak was never found by our Hot Springs dealer and would have cost several hundred dollars to dig thru the foam to find the problem.In my opinion, there are several design flaws. 1) With the Lift n Slide cover, I have to slide and completely open the cover to access the control panel during maintenance times. The controller should have been located in an area where only half the cover needs to be open. 2) The access panel for the spa equipment is blocked by the Cover arms . You have to unbot them for access.
It's all about the cover's interference issues.

Having access to the spa is essential. We are continually innovating and making our spas better.
Most hot tubbers have the cover lifter in the back of the spa so that it does not interfere with the equipment panel.
However, on some spas, we made it an option to install it as a side to side opening for those customers that have no other option based on their spa set up.
It is nice to have options.

If a hot tub has to bring solace to an accountant during tax season it better be good - and it is. As advertised with unexpected nice touches like the water massager (you have to try this one) lighting, fast heat up, quiet operation and the fun bubble presentation of the filtration system. Plus the nozzles at each seat are different so there are choices for different comfort treatments. I wish the jet speed was adjustable but they are quite powerful and the nozzles can be adjusted to reduce the blast so to speak.
PS The Vendor was a real pro.

The Brand new Hot Tub Trips the GFCI on the 20 amp circuit. We tested and troubleshot the Circuit, and the problem is in the circuit board. Nobody knows how long it will take to get a replacement circuit board, nor how long it will take to schedule the service to fix the machine.

Great addition to our home

This is our 2d Hot Springs Spa. Our first was one of the original Hot Springs Round Hot Tub when we lived in St Louis. A great product.
We have moved multiple times and have always wanted a home with either a pool or a spa. After purchasing our current home, we decided on the Jetsetter LX model with the Salt Water feature. We could not be happier. We have now owned this spa for a few months and the maintenance required has been pretty strait forward and easy. The back massage feature on the LX is wonderful. After a round of golf, jumping into the hot tub relieves all the soreness in your back. I can honestly say you will sleep better at night. A great product.

This is the perfect hot tub for my girlfriend and I. It's what we've always wanted. It says its designed for 2-3 people but I think 3 would be a little tight...its perfect for 2.

The Jetsetter is the perfect size spa for 2, and offers a powerful array of jets. Our used model is not as quiet as the model in the showroom, but we have been very pleased with the installation and service support.

We live in San Francico, not Nome, so I can't say how well our spa would work in extreme weather, but in a mild climate (temps drop into the 50s some nights) the insulation does a great job. I can use the tub at 104, turn it down and 24 hour later it is still over 100 degrees!

First time soakers

When we decided to go ahead and get our first hot tub, friends recommended HotSpring so that’s where we went. Selection was good. We chose the biggest one we could fit in a small space. The unit was ready ahead of time and delivered promptly. Initial set-up hiccups with the cover were quickly remediated by the dealer. The electric set-up was a lot trickier than anticipated, involving attic-crawling, sub-panels and a tight tub space. Gratefully, the sub HotSpring suggested, Efrem Reynozo, had us covered. He was there the day the tub was delivered and arrived early the next day with materials and a plan. Positive attitude and quality workmanship. Had the first soak last night and it was luxurious. Looking forward to many more.

I didn’t buy from them but the advice I received was extremely informative, friendly and knowledgeable staff !! I’ve been back and purchased chemicals for my hot springs tub and will keep returning to buy more ! Hopefully one day upgrade to a newer tub big thank you to the Vicky at the Mappleborough Green Garden Centre , Studley, Warwickshire
We bought a sovereign hot tub years ago to help with my bad back and after visiting many different shops and trying ALL the different tubs available we found that the hot springs range beat the competition hands down ! When we moved house in 2013 we sold the tub with the house, and longed for a replacement so the only way to go was a hot springs tub , this time we chose a slightly smaller model and went for the Jetsetter perfect for us

I have now had my Jetsetter LX for about a month, and purchasers of this tub should be aware of a few facts:
1. The manufacturer has not given any thought to use of these tubs in places where the temperature gets well below freezing. The insulation seems woefully inadequate. I will find out this winter.
2. The interior surfaces are extremely slippery and there are no hand holds or other ways to secure yourself getting in and out of the tub and moving around inside of it.
3. The instructions provided are poorly written, and spread over two manuals - one general one and one dealing with the salt water version, which I have.
4. the removable control panel looks cool, but at least one screen on it has never worked at all.

Our spas confidentially operate in very cold temperatures. For the last 40 + years they have been enjoyed in Alaska and Canada, just to name a couple of places.
I am sure you will have a great time with your spa this winter.
The spas shell has an acrylic overlay. If you find it slippery, you can use water shoes to provide you with the grip to move around. We also have a rail that can assist you getting in and out of the spa.
I will pass along your feedback about the manuals. We are always working to make improvements and make the hot tub experience an enjoyable one.
The reason there are separate manuals for the salt system and the spa is because the salt system is an optional one. Not everyone will need both.

We bought our spa from Tampa Bay Hottubs in Florida from Jerry. This is our 4th spa but first Hot Spring spa. This difference in quality between the Hot Spring spa and other three is huge.
