I've had my tub for less than two months and the lights on outside have been flashing (indicating something's wrong) almost the entire time! The back massage jet only works part of the time. I've called the dealer several times and they always promise they'll come out....yet nothing ever happens! I deeply regret ever buying this product.

Thank you for writing about your spa experience. As you have had your spa for a short time, a flashing light may simply mean you need to soak your filters in a degreaser. Delightful - Tremendous Value for Money

After doing lots of research, I recently bought a 2008 Hot Spring Jetsetter JJ from a Bellevue-area dealer. I decided to buy a high quality used tub, versus an "ok" new one for the same price. It was the right choice, because the Jetsetter has operated perfectly from day one. It's good looking, powerful, and truly therapeutic.
The features and benefits are exceptional. A friend with chronic neck pain eagerly jumps in when he visits to get great pain relief. I just upgraded to Tri-X filters and feel privileged to have a compact tub with adequate power to use these convenient ceramics. I called the electric company and they said my added energy usage was so minimal that they won't be increasing my "budget payment" amount (I pay equal monthly payments year round). The solid construction made installation of the tub and cover lifter so easy - even my picky handyman was complimentary.
It's a testament to Hot Spring's quality that even as the second owner I'm enjoying incredible reliability, efficiency, and therapeutic benefits.
I expect many more years of service from my Jetsetter and my next tub will surely be a Hot Spring - probably a new Aria.

Second Jetsetter. Great but not so "Hot".

Our new jetsetter arrived and was installed professionally by Oregon Hot Tub. This is our second jetsetter. We still use our 20 year old model at our farm and the new one is in our floating home in Multnomah channel. The tub arrived with one defective jet and the lift mechanism for the top broke on one side and one light was defective around a speaker. Oregon Hot tub as promised to fix so we shall see. If you have an older model be sure to note that the new models do not allow them to get hotter than 104. Our old model allowed better heat control as we like the tub around 106 for therapeutic reasons so you may be disappointed with the low heat cap. Oregon Hot tub says it is for “safety” reasons but I expect it was a cost cutting matter.

8 year old spa seals and gaskets have failed one by one since year two.
Now I have a leak they cant find and they have to take it and dig apart the tub to try and locate the leak for thousands of dollars with no warranty that a new leak could happen even week later, and it probably will. We keep the tub in an inside porch out of the elements and have maintained it as needed but it still falls apart. I would expect far better support or a replacement spa from Hot Springs for a Spa brand that claims to be the best. My last tub I sold with my house cost half as much and went 12 years without any needs except anew pump after 9 years. This thing has had bad valve seals twice, bad moto-massage seals, bad led light seals you name it. Now the situation is catastrophic.

My goodness! Thanks for writing about your 8 year old spa. Normally, the quickest way to ruin seals and gaskets is an imbalance in the water chemistry levels. I would like to look at this in depth with you and your local dealer, so will be writing to your email address now and hope to hear from you with more details. At first, I didn't want a hot tub. I thought it would be too much to care for, and I'd probably never use it. My husband talked me into it. Well, to my surprise, it's very little upkeep and I used it almost every day. We're military, so the hot tub has moved 3 times with us. Now, we live in Florida and I may use it a little less but I can't see myself without one. We've had the Jetsetter since 2006 and it still works as good as ever. We recommend it to everyone. Always wanted a hot tub and recently purchased this model. I have no regrets as the tub far out ways any bad thoiughts i had, not a day gone by when it is not used by us and family.
Dont think to long about buying one as you will not regret the purchase and enjoy every time you get in.

Very happy with hot tub and installation but exterior slightly damaged and handrail light missing. We were told an engineer would come to replace it but were sent a replacement in the post for us to fit and we are still awaiting news of action re the damage 10 days later. The choice of jets is fantastic.

We were hot tub virgins. Never had a hot tub before. Used them in spas and on holidays but never had to look after it.
To use one it's a bliss but we found looking after the water quite a challenge. We only had it for two months but we had to change the water twice. The instructions aren't that clear and the process seems to be very absorbing. We would like to take out a care contract so they come out to see what we are doing right and wrong and clean and refill if necessary. Hopefully we'll learn in time.
We love the design and it can fit four adults but the water comes out over the top so you have to full it back up afterwards a little bit.
We purchased the new 2014 model but are yet to receive our steps. How can you sell an incomplete product, I don't know. It's not too bad for young people but if you're not so flexible it's hard to get in and out. I've been chasing but apparently they have no idea when they arrive.
I cannot say anything about the energy costs as yet.

You should not have to change the water more than every 3-5 months; we'll be glad to work with you to task the hassle out of the water care routine. I will write to you directly to find out more about the steps; they are an accessory and I'd like to talk to your dealer to see what the hold up might be in them getting you what you want. Well engineered and a dream to use. Fill it up, plug it up, warm it up, soak it up; it's just about that simple. And not only that, it looks gorgeous sitting there. I do wish I could remove the Moto Massage and wear it to work though.

Thank you for writing about a 20 year old spa that you have not used since 1999. Do give the locally authorized dealer a call if you decide you'd like to reactivate the spa. I recommend the tech do a thorough evaluation of the spa before you purchase any parts or services.

When we lived up north, we owned a HotSpring Sovreign for about 20 years and loved it. We've moved to Florida and purchased the Jetsetter. There have been many improvements in technology that impressed us. The ACE salt system makes water care so much easier. The lighting and controls are greatly improved as well. We love the Jetsetter and have recommended it to a couple of our friends.

We love our Jetsetter it is about 8 years old, it is kept under cover does not see the elements.
Notice we have a small leak coming from bottom corner (there is a round vent).
We removed the wood panel to expose the vent and see a black flexible (approximately 3" radius) however we cannot trace the vent tube due to the insulation.
Any suggestions?

We love our Jetsetter hot tub!!! These old muscles are feeling pretty good now. We hit the hot tub at least 3 times a week. The best purchase ever. We've wanted a hot tub for many many years. We sleep better and are more at ease.

Spa was smaller than our last spa thus requiring less water. This one is more energy efficient. This is a plus. Since their are only two of us in our family this style is great
