the only issue I have is that the screen doesn't tell you (and actually misinforms you) about the salt level.
Every potential buyer should be informed that they are going to have to buy a boatload of ph and salt testing sticks, which are not cheap, just to know if the salt level is correct.
When you run the salt test, the indicator you will most often see on your display is "contact dealer for support", which is NOT helpful

You should not have to take salt test strip readings too often, as salt does not dissipate from the spa. Due to the type of job I have, the hot tub is truly a lifesaver. Many days after very arduous physical activity from my job, I have use the hot tub as a theraputic tool. It has help reduce/avoid injury. After surgery to correct a fractured/dislocated ankle, I used the hot tub to help regain range of motion following the removal of a cast after 6 weeks. It truly helped speed the time for complete recovery.

Our spa is 4 years old and looks brand new! Caring for it is easy and we opted for a salt system! The salt system is extremely easy to manage with minimal effort! The water looks crystal clear all year long and it may be our climate in Ohio but I basically add 1/2 chlorine weekly and that's it? Changing the water is an easy process and keeps the water perfect! I do it twice a year even though they recommend more we are not in the spa enough to constitute that ! My wife and I just love it! HotSpring is definitely the Mercedes Benz of spas! The quality is awesome and I would buy another if we decide to go bigger! This is perfect for the two of us!

Thanks for a terrific review of the Jetsetter and ACE water care system. As you've said, the water care system is easy to maintain with a minimum of effort. Using the ACE system will actually allow you to keep the same water in the spa for a year or more. Happy Hot Tubbing!

I love to soak in my Hot Spring hot tub for a half-hour before bedtime to relieve sore muscles and aching joints. I live and work on our ranch, am an advanced senior citizen, and a good soak in 105 degree water is my salvation. I don't take any medication to help me sleep because soaking in the hot tub works better and is better for me than sleeping medications. Love my Hot Spring spa!

I received this on my 50 th Birthday and am now turning 55 . I absolutely love it and have not had any problem with it . I think eventually we will up grade to the saltwater system but that is just a preference . I give my Hot tub 5 stars !

ACE salt water sanitizing system is very good and easy to maintain.
Depth of seat where Moto-Massage is located is too deep to keep out of water; when sitting on bottom (I'm 5'8" so not necessarily short) I end up sitting on the bottom with my head under water. I have tried finding something to be able to sit on to raise myself up, but everything I find floats and thus it's hard to keep at a point to sit on.

We owned a HotSpring Spa while living in Alaska. Upon moving to the lower 48 and retiring, we chose the JetSetter for our new spa which is just the right size for the two of us. I have found the HotSpring's spas to be of high quality, very reliable and economical to operate.

We use our spa almost every day. It is a great way to relax and watch the sunset with a nice glass of wine. It’s also great after a long day working in the yard has worn us out and made our muscles ache. We look forward to turning it on and climbing in!

For 35 years we have owned a Hot Springs Spa. Our first spa was a Prodigy we now own a Jet Setter. Each time we moved to a new house we bought a new spa. We have stayed with the Hot Springs brand because it is true, "you get what you pay for". Durability is a key feature of their spas. Friends own lesser brands and they are constantly having to have them worked on. We use our spa daily, yet it does not reflect wear & tear.

Perfect size for a single, but big enough for entertaining. GREAT massage features. I bought my first Jetsetter, but when I sold the house, the buyers insisted the hot tub stay with the house. So, I bought another for the new house. Still love it!

Beware of ACE Salt System

There's no question that HotSpring spas are nice spas, but the ACE system simply doesn't work. For the price one pays for a HotSpring spa, it should work perfectly. Mine has never worked properly and I've recommended the spa to 3 other who have bought with ACE. Two of them have had trouble with the ACE system and the other hasn't been delivered yet. I recommend purchasing a less expensive spa that doesn't offer ACE or similar systems.

I bought a Hot Springs Jetsetter back in late 2012. When I lived in Chicagoland it was inside and I loved the used of it. Checked the water about once a month. My local dealer did tests on the water for me with no charge. Just followed their directions to keep chemical levels correct. I've had two back surgeries, so I use my tub when my back is hurting.
Quality is wonderful. I have a motor replaced and didn't even know it was a problem. The service guys showed up with a new motor and replaced it very quickly. It was an issue with that particular motor. I didn't have any issues with it before it was replaced.
I know live in KY and moved my Jetsetter with me. Currently it is in my garage and not hooked up. Can't afford to have the power installed until I find a full time job. I'm missing my tub tremendously. I will have it installed in the garage since I want to keep it indoors, and I have more room than I need.
I'm glad I bought from Hot Springs and not a competitor. I love all the jets and included lighting features. I would buy Hot Springs again without even thinking about it. Best purchase ever.

Purchased the Jetsetter in March of this year. 1 month after purchase, unable to maintain water quality. The dealer originally set the tub up. Stayed clear for 4 weeks. For the past 8 months we have been unable to maintain water quality. Dealer has been back out to drain, clean and refill. However, the water quality is unchanged. Have spent over 400.00 in chemical supplies with no change. We now have to clean the filters weekly just to maintain moderate cloudiness. Dealer assures us that we are not the issue. Water samples were taken 90-days ago. To date there has been no customer support from Hot Springs/Watkins. I would not suggest this company for the lack of customer service/support. After working with the dealer they have been in contact with Hot Spring/Watkins citing that someone would call us that day or within a few days. In 8 months we have not received any communications from Hot Springs/Watkins other than to tell us they are testing our water.
