Prodigy, the perfect hot tub

We bought our Prodigy in 2005. It's the perfect hot tub! Quiet, efficient, low maintinence and energy efficient. Our electric bill never changed after we installed it. You'll never regret buying an Oregon Hotsprings spa. My sister insisted that I buy this product, and once again, my sister was right. It's awesome. Only 350 gal. Perfect for 2 to 4 bodies.

Our first hot springs spa we had for many years. It was still working when we traded it in on a newer more energy saving model. We love it. We plan on it lasting us a long time like our last one. We will certainly buy another one later on.

the prodigy is our second Hot Springs spa.The first lasted quite a long time and hopefully is still serving some family somewhere. This new spa is very nice, much easier to maintain, and can be drained, cleaned and refilled in a day with no problem. I expect that we will have this one for a long time...

Great Hot Tub for a first time owner!

This tub has been excellent for us. It's our first hot tub and I was a bit worried about maintenance and the cost of operation when I bought it. The tub has been easy to own, maintain, and the cost of maintenance has been pretty affordable. They seem to be a bit more expensive that tubs of similar size and features, but I believe the efficiency, quality and ease of ownership overcome that. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a hot tub. The bonus is that I can run it off of a standard 110v outlet and didn't need to have costly 220v service installed. So, if I ever want to move it, I can easily do so.

The climate at Squaw Valley allows us to use our spa year round. It is incredibly relaxing and we love being out under the stars each evening. The maintenance is pretty straight forward. Jets have great placement and variety. We are completely happy with our purchase.

Having had a i990's spa by another manufacture, I did my homework and couldn't be happier with my purchase. Spas have come a long way in ease of operation, water care, and filter cleaning. Weekly maintenance is a breeze and once you balance the water, just enjoy.
Also, the folks at Great Atlantic were great to work with and there for you if questions or assistance is needed.

Live in north FL, I enjoy my spa year round and change to 'summer setting' in April thru November. Very low maintenance, easy to clean and use it regularly.
Very satisfied with the Hot Springs spa and would buy another one when time comes.

Our Second Hot Spring Spa

We purchased our first Hot Spring Spa in 1987 and it lasted until 2009.
When it finally gave out after 22 years, we looked at a few other spas, but knew that we'd end up with another Hot Spring. The new Prodigy is better in every way. The ozone generator makes keeping the water clear and in balance very easy. Cleaning the filters is much easier that on the old spa.

This spa is really nice for 2 people. Easy to take care of and very economical to operate. The only negative is that it has only one speed. It would of been better if there could of been various settings. The quality is good and the finish is excellent.

All I can say is my Prodigy Spa was a GREAT investment! Yes they cost $$$ but it energy efficient, it’s easy maintenance, and its comfort has gone a long way.

This is our 4th Hot Spring and we think it is great. We have had the spa 6 months. We have the ACE system and it is super. We don't have to continually adjust the chemicals. So far, the ACE system monitors the water and makes adjustments as necessary. I would recommend the extra expense.
We have had some problems with the spa not being able to maintain the set temperature. The spa has allowed the temperature to increase as much as 4 degrees above the setting. Several things were tried and I think they have finally solved the problem. If you experience this problem, I would suggest you start immediate action to resolve the problem. This is the only negative that I have experienced so far.
I am now very satisfied with this spa.

Our unit is wonderful. Requires only routine filter maintenance and water change every four months. We use it on average every other night.

The Prodigy Hot Tub is outstanding

By far this is the best hot tub that I have ever used. For years I have traveled to various places and almost always find a place with a hot tub. I can't count how many different types of hot tubs that I have tried, but none have ever comparied to the comfort and reliability of my Hot Springs Prodigy. It turned out to be a purchase well worth the money.

Good spa but a lot of issues with it. Parts have gone bad quickly. Overall satisfied but areas of the spa should be more thought through before distributing.

The Tiger River is a much better tub. Hot Springs pushes full filtration. When the tub comes on, you get a shot of cold water which is more than annoying. If you go on vacation, you might come home to find the tub kicked off due to the main filter so we have to remove it before we leave and make sure no one uses the tub with it out. I would not recommend this tub. I would never buy a hot tub without a circ pump though. If the tub you choose has no circulation pump, it costs a lot more to operate and will come on every time the water temperature drops. I will say the Hot Springs and the Tiger River are both very economical to operate.

My previous spa was a "Blue Ridge Spa" purchased from Lowes about 12 years ago. Over the years I have replaced the heater twice, the small recirculation pump 3 times and had the mother-board repaired twice (replacements were not available). After my experience with the "Blue Ridge" I would not have purchased another spa, except for the fact that the "Blue Ridge" was killed by lighting. The company is out of business and parts are no longer available, so my insurance would not reimburse me unless I purchased a new spa. Since owning the "Hot Springs Spa" my electric bill is down $20. The quality is like comparing a new Lexus to a 1960's Volkswagon. The "Hot Springs" is pure quality.
