HAVE PURCHASED FOUR HOT SPRING SPAS OVER THE LAST 35 YEARS

Purchased my first Hot Spring spa in Maryland in the late seventies after an extensive review of all spa manufacturers which revealed Hot Spring has the best engineering, manufacturing quality and reputable dealerships in the industry. After retiring to Arizona in 1991, I have subsequently purchased three additional Hot Spring spas on a trade-in basis. Each subsequent purchase was made based on the technoligical advances they offered in energy efficiency, water treatment improvements and spa utilization and enjoyment features that were far ahead of their competition

This spa is very easy to care for - filters easily accessible, simple to drain and clean, and drains completely with a little wiping. Controls are easy to learn and use. Shell is nice looking and holds its finish well. Overall excellent quality workmanship. My only negative is the lack of foot jets.

Other than below, good tub, need to solve water getting into lights.

Good hot tub but there is problem with the lights on top of the rails, for some reason water gets inside the lights causing them to short out and instead of the right colors you want, they will be multiple colors because water has shorted them out. Twice on our tub.

I like the look of the prodigy and features. I have had no problems with hot tub thus far and have had it for three years. The only thing that I would say is that while it is the best filtered hot tub the chemical is expensive. With health issues in my family I would buy it again.

My wife and I selected the Prodigy because we wanted a moderately sized tub that we could install indoors. This spa met our requirements and we couldn't be more satisfied. It is very comfortable and well built.

We bought an ACE system. Having some issues but service has been working with us to correct the issue. It had been working great for the first year and a half and then we started having issues with the cell. Low salt readings even though we just changed the water and cleaned the filters. So far a standpipe change and now waiting for a new cell.

We are so pleased with this purchase! Water care is easy, energy efficient, easy install, so easy to use! We work on the road so we don't get a lot of time at home, but when we do, it is so simple to get the tub up and going, ready to use in a jiffy! It looks beautiful, runs beautifully and the whole family enjoys it!

this Prodigy hot tub like any hot tub is going to require maintenance but nothing major. We just add what we need, empty, and clean periodically. it definitely is not the hassle that older hot tubs from our youth were. We've had ours for two years and still use it frequently. For all that came with the tub, it was a great value. It seems very efficient and we have not regretted the purchase once. the included led lights are quite fun and the kids have a great time with them

We started out with a Grandee 20 years ago. We had to leave our second when we moved-buyer wrote it in the deal. We are now retired, and the Prodigy fits us perfectly.

I love the spa..it is very easy to maintain as I am chief in charge of hot tub upkeep...hubby helps with draining the water. The best part about the spa, the support system from Sonny and Joe...both Sonny and Joe are friendly and always helpful....a few times I've ordered incorrectly, and instead of sending me the wrong product...they alerted me and sent the correct chemical...love the hot tub...I would highly recommend the spa and the company to anyone interested in purchasing.

I am so glad that I decided on the purchase of a Hot Spring Prodigy. It is just my wife and I and we have (with the exception of a couple out of town trips) sat in it every morning for the last 6 months. Water care couldn't be easier with the silver ion, the only time it makes any noise is when you have the jets on, which by the way I was never a huge fan of jets, but the Prodigy has made me a believer.
The only issue that we have had is with the bar top lights being out of sinc., but the techs were out the next day to fix...and followed up later.
I almost bought from a big box, stack em deep, sell em cheap, stores. By the time you add the shipping, dealing with relocating it from your sidewalk to the backyard and hooking it up, and energy efficiency, in the end you are not that much farther ahead, and am sure would be further behind as soon as something went wrong or that power bill adds up. So glad I didn't settle.

The first one lasted 25 years, so I knew that these Hot Springs were very well made. I love this tub even more than the first one, the ease of use couldn't be easier. No Bromine smell and always so clean.

The Prodigy spa is ok for two people, but even though it seats 5, the leg room makes it difficult to have more than two or three people in it at a time. Also, there are less jets than I expected. Most are concentrated in one seat. Also, depending upon what position the jets lever is in, some are off while the others are on. This makes having too many people in it less effective.

The Prodigy spa was a great purchase, just what I wanted in a spa. Its not too large, nor too small. Perfect for 2-4 people, normal use being 2. It is well insulated and efficient, that being evident by my electric bill only going up $7/mo over the last seven months being used at least 5 times a week. I converted mine to 220, which was the only problem I saw, albeit very minor. The conversion is easy and only took a few minutes, however (as was explained to me when I asked if it could be delivered ready for 220), each tub is 'made to order' but the 110/220 conversion cannot be accomplished in the factory. To me that doesnt make sense. If for some reason the conversion was screwed up (which would be difficult, only a basic knowledge of elecrtonics/wiring is needed, it voids the warranty, but only if done improperly. Would make more sense to avoid issues like that make truly make the tub to order, including voltage. Very easy to maintain, effiecnt, comfortable, and overall relaxing!

I did a lot of homework and read a lot of reviews before purchasing this hot tub, I thought it would be high quality and reliable and that the company would stand behind its product. I was wrong on both accounts. This is an absolute ***LEMON***.
I have only had it a few months, it’s indoors, and I only use it a few times a week (one person, no kids) but I have already had to have service out here twice. They charge you $49 for a service call, even if it’s a problem that is completely the fault of the manufacturer. The “bar top” lights started doing odd things and they were different colors at different times instead of all being the same color at once. The interior control panel has had a lot of problems; the lights stopped working and I had problems with a button on that panel not working too. They have also replaced the heater.
The servicemen are very kind and knowledgeable, they feel sorry for me and have never seen so many problems with a new tub. Be prepared for a lot of “attitude” when you call the service center though (these people are vastly different from the actual servicemen). They are so RUDE. He actually told me I was wrong when I told him what was wrong with my tub. Are you kidding me? I could not be more disappointed. If you had a new car with problems and you had to pay every time you had warranty work done, you would be furious. What a mistake. Caveat emptor. These are ***JUNK***.
