Just upgraded from a jetsetter to a Prodigy after ten years. Hot springs is by far the best hot tub models. Long lasting. We went with the new salt system. No complaints. Maintenance requires weekly chemical check, normal stain and scale additive,etc. Then once a month we cleaning filters and take ten minute salt cell cleaning. That is it!!! Very happy with the salt cell so far. But you must do the required up keep Hot Springs tells you to do. Prodigy we like because of the seating arrangement. No Lounger! To us we never cared for the reclining seat area. Jet flow in the prodigy is great. The lighting system is the bomb!!! Hot springs does a great job with their products.

When we run the Jets, this spa runs so very quietly and with the Silent Flo 5000 pump going 24/7, we don't have to worry about the jets having to run periodically to "heat" it up again. The lights are an item that everyone comments on because they continue to change color, which makes the experience so much more fun and enjoyable. It's like our own "light show."

While it worked it was great. But my local dealer isn't qualified to fix it. And it appears to need fixing a lot at $140 per service call.

We wish we would have bought this spa years ago. It's physical therapy for the whole body. The jets are strong and you can feel them work those aches and pains away. We are extremely active and this spa is like having a daily personal massage in your home. It is an expensive spa, but worth every dollar. We shopped around and tested other brands, this one was the porche of all spas.

I have a 1998 Prodigy. Last year we purchased a new cover for it and the pump, then it started leaking internally and then last fall the heater went bad, it only heats to 80 degrees. So I don't know what to do with it. We really enjoyed this unit and feel that if we get a new tub it will have to be another Prodigy so we can utilize the cover but the rest needs to go. I just hate putting money into it like we did and it going to waste.

I spent considerable time shopping for a hot tub. I narrowed it down to 3 different companies and ultimately decided on the Prodigy model from Hot Springs. It has exceeded all expectations. I opted for the 110V plug and play and have had zero problems with temperature and comfort. I live outside the Seattle area for what it's worth. The jets are surprisingly strong and the jet placement offers great vatiety. The controls are foolproof and it is a breeze maintaining water quality. I leave it on constant at 104 and use it 30-60 minutes daily. It takes approximately 24 hours to reach 104 after a water change. My electric bill increased $15-$20 per month depending on season. Don't hesitate to purchase a tub from Hot Springs. Truly impressive.

I had my prodigy for 9 years, it was a wonderful spa. I would still have it if Nemo hadnt done it in. Had no issues with it over the years
we have owned it for 6 years and have had problems with it since we got it. bad boards .temperture control board cover let go and now the motor has gone. the company we bought it from is here every year it seems to always have a problem.

Our Hot Springs dealer goes out of his way to support our purchase. We bought a tub for home and liked it so much that we bought the identical tub for our cabin which is 3 hours up the road. Our dealer at home was more than willing to drive the new tub to the cabin even though it would cost him in time and gas to get it there.

Recently replaced old Hot Spring spa

After 17 years of use in my first Hot Springs Sovereign spa, I decided it was time to purchase a replacement. The old one was still working, but I figured it was time to get a new one since I was replacing the deck the old one was on. If this one lasts as long as the first one, I will be very happy. The new spa is very nice and the seller/installer did a great job of working with me on removal of the old and installation of the new. I needed time to tear out and replace the deck.
The only negative comment I would have is that these spas are always overstated when it comes to capacity. This 5 person one is good for 3 people unless you really like to be on top of each other. Otherwise, we enjoy the new spa and water care is as easy as advertised. I always recommend Hot Springs spas to my friends since that is how I found out about them.

Single guy. I purchased my first Prodigy (white Endurol finish) when I still lived in an apartment (although it was against the renter's rules). I had it installed in my living room!
A couple years later, Hot Spring made some significant improvements, so I sold mine and purchased a new one with a coarser Dark Aqua finish. It looked/performed great, but really did not like the rougher finish as much in daily use.
A year later, I built a new home and had a tiled area with drain, etc, designed into the bedroom to Prodigy dimensions. In 2004, I sold the aqua model and went back to the white Endurol finish... now it is the perfect set-up for me. Use it every night. No more filthy public spa hot tubs!
I have sold many people on Hot Spring tubs over the years.
Since we got our spa, we use it almost every day. It is so relaxing and creates a great time for my wife and I to unwind and spend quality time together. Our dealer, Coleman's was tremendous and so helpful. Don't wait, get one now.
This is my second Hot Springs. At their current purchase price, this should ay it all.

We bought our hot tub in December and it has been pure enjoyment! After a long day on the mountain, it is a joy to come home to. It is the perfect size for the two of us. We had another couple over it and it was just as comfortable with 4 people. I love that the jets are adjustable.
