THIS IS MY SECOND HOT SPRINGS SPA. I made vthe mistake of buying a thermo spa and regretted it. The thermo spa had higher operating and maintenance costs.

We had a Hot Spring Spa 15-20 years ago. We loved it so much that when we were ready to add a spa to our new home, we went straight back to Hot Spring! Our Prodigy is the perfect fit for us. The care is so simple and the benefits are so great. Thanks go out to Paul, our salesman at the Sarasota store. He help us make an educated decision on the model. We were sold on Hot Spring before we even walked into the showroom.

I have always wanted a hot tub, and the time had finally come. When looking at the various makes and models, Hot Springs stood out to be one of the better makes. I am so glad we have made this purchase, it has made our quality of life better already. I will use the tub some mornings before I go to work at 5:00am. I find it helpful to relax may back muscles and help me prepare for the day.

Love our hot tub. Never really have to go on vacation. Step out our back door to sit in a beautiful park - like setting to soak away our stress. Easy to maintain and energy efficient.

A long time ago I broke many bones, this has resulted in a lot of joint pain, My Hot Spring is used all year long in the warm months I have the temp set at 103 F., and when it's freezing out I have it set at 105 F. I can't really see any change in the Electric Bill, and I found the biggest trick to getting the chemicals right is take your time, for instance : if you are adding softener just add a little at a time and wait 20 mins for it to stabilize before you take a reading, in a short time it becomes so easy I think a child can learn. Easy water care, easy on Energy usage, and it makes me feel great, what other then all of that is there ?

You are so right about water chemistry. Waiting for the chemicals to do their job and penetrate,hundreds of gallons of water, before you take a reading can make all the difference.

We upgraded from a 3 person to the Prodigy. We have 3 kids so we definitely needed the extra space. We were limited as to which tub to get only because it was going inside a 3 season porch and size mattered. But with all 5 of us in the tub it seems to be fine. The only complaint I would have is that I wish there were a couple higher seated positions so legs wouldn't get intertwined as much. But overall we love it.

We purchased the Prodigy on 8/31/2015. I was a little skeptical about this at first but my wife insisted. It was a lot of work getting ready for this tub (deck support, electrical, etc) but I got it done. After having the tub for about a month, I am in love with it. I figured it would be my wife using it all the time and that I would only use it once every week or two but rather I have found myself using it almost every day. The jets in this tub are amazing and each different corner of the tub provides a different type of jet for a different massage. We also purchaed the Uprite Cover Lifter and absolutely love it. With the placement of the tub on our deck we didn't have room to manually take the cover off and store it while we use the tub. The cover lifter keeps the cover neatly stored and also provides us some privacy from our neighbor.
We couldn't be happier with our purchase!

Our Prodigy Jacuzzi is great. We enjoy the Blue Tooth Surround Sound as we enjoy our daily soothing rotating and soothing jets on our back and feet.
It would be better to have about 4" more depth so that when you sit, your knees could be level instead of propped up.

We really love our Prodigy hot tub. We've had it for 3 years and it has served us continuously with no issues or downtime. We live at a high elevation (on a mountain above Lake Tahoe at 7,500'). Winter temps can drop to zero degrees. Nonetheless, the temperature stays at a toasty 105 degrees!
I only have two (minor) criticisms. First, it would be nice if the jets had variable speeds instead of just a single speed. It's not a huge deal since we usually don't use the jets - preferring instead to just enjoy a nice hot soak under the stars. Second, it would be nice if it were internet-enabled so I could decrease/increase the temperature remotely and simply monitor the temperature in the tub when traveling.
I often forget to manually turn down the temp before I depart on a trip. If I do turn it down before leaving, when I return I have to remember to turn it up and then wait a day before the heat reaches a desirable level.

Thanks for the detailed review, photos and suggestions. May we post a photo or two on our Facebook page? Though there is only 1 speed for the jets, you can dial up/down the intensity with the air valves and we DO offer the "Connextion Spa Remote" to let you do exactly what you described re: controlling water temp and jets remotely. It is a big hit with our customers. Talk to your local dealer about Connextion as it will retrofit onto spas built in or after the 4th quarter of 2012. Happy Hot Tubbing!

HOt Springs Spas are far and away the best on the market for therapy and economy. Simply said!! I have been an continuous owner since 1984. I am a very active, athletic, individual and I now use my spa for shoulder therapy every morning prior to setting off to work. Gives me a great start to the day. Had a Classic, Classic D and now the Prodigy. Want to upgrade to the new and improved Prodigy soon.
