Great for backs and that's about it

This spa focuses on the back. Every single jet. It's really excellent at that. In fact, it is so powerful you really need handles to hang onto except that there are none. I really needed something that would work on the legs, thighs, and feet, too. You must get into a contortionist position for that to happen. This spa is costly. It costs a whole lot more extra in electricity costs per month than I was led to believe. It should have cup holders. I was not so interested in the speaker capability.

Best attitude adjustment purchase ever!

Overall best purchase we have ever made! So easy to use and maintain. Instant heat at the push of a button - no waiting for unground spas to heat up. Very minimal adjustments to our electric bill . No strong chemical smells and no chemistry degree needed to check and adjust ph levels. I'm enjoying the best spa experience ever at a very affordable price.

Three Times a Winner with Hot Spring

We recently bought a new Prodigy in Delaware. It is our third HotSpring spa after leaving an earlier Prodigy model behind with the sale of our house in New Jersey and previously owning a Jetsetter, which became too small for the family. The quality and ease of use keeps us coming back to HotSpring after researching several other brands that are also sold near our new home. We love the new shell, control pad and motorizer feature that wasn't a part of our old Prodigy. The uprite lift added to the spa makes opening and closing the cover a breeze. We are looking forward to many years of enjoyment and relaxation in our new new HotSpring spa!

Great Back Support

All of the jets on this spa are intended to help your back, and they do that very well. The back massage jet is particularly helpful.
However, there are no lower jets for feet or legs. That was disappointing considering the cost of this spa. I was also led to believe you could put four or five people in this spa. Three adults is about the max, and that's with the legs hitting each other. The spa is less energy-efficient than I was led to believe; energy efficiency is major reason I chose it over a Jacuzzi. The optimal way to buy a spa would be to be able to try out the different models so you know what you're getting. I didn't.

You are correct. Wet teasing your spas is a great way to see how a spa will preform. I would encourage potential buyers to work with your local dealers to survey all spa models.

The prodigy is the second Hotspring tub I have purchased. I owned a Grandee for 20 years and it was an excellent and trouble free hot tub.
When it came time for a replacement I chose the prodigy because I no longer neede the capacity of the Grandee. The kids are grown and out of the house. The Prodigy is the same exceptional quality as th Grandee and the perfect size for my wife and I.
I would never consider purchasing anything other than a Hotspring tub. From a quality and value perspective it has no equal.

BEFORE I PURCHASED MY HOTSPRING SPA, I HAD OWNED TWO (2) DIFFERENT SPAS.. THEY HAD NUMEROUS FAILURES IN THEIR "COMPUTER BOARDS" AND OTHER MECHANICAL FAILURES. ADDITIONALLY, THEIR EXTERIOR CONSTRUCTION WAS EITHER STAINED OR PAINTED WOOD WHICH WAS QUITE TIME CONSUMING TO MAINTAIN. MY HOTSPRING SPA HAS A TERRIFIC EXTERIOR CONSTRUCTION THAT IS VERY EASY TO CLEAN AND VIRTUALLY MAINTENANCE FREE. THIS IS THE BEST SPA THAT I HAVE OWNED IN THE LAST 25 YEARS!

The Prodigy hot tup is an excellent design. I purchased it primarily to help me with arthritis and has done an excellent job with that. This is a feature rich hot tub, mine has the optional Ace Salt Water system and the TRI-X filters. Maintenance is very easy with minimal use of chemicals. The only real fault I have at all is with the manual, I found it extremely difficult to use. I still definitely recommend this hot tub just be prepared to struggle with the manual.

Twenty years ago I had a Hot Springs Spa in Wintergreen, VA.
Fifteen years ago I purchased a non Hot Springs spa for my home.
Replaced it last month with th Hot Springs Prodigy. The Salt System reduces chemicals and the chlorine smell. Love it!

Thank you for your review. Glad to hear that you are enjoying your spa. Spa temperature limit is 104 degrees. However, in most of our spas there is a way to increase them to 106. Also please note that your spas temperature can be within 2 degrees of the set temperature. This means if you have your spa set at 103 the actual temperature could be 101 before the heater turns back on. I will email you to make sure you are taking full advantage of the additional two degrees.

No more "HAZE GRAY Underway" for me!

Recently, I retired from the U.S. Navy and immediately jumped into my new job, new career, but in the SAME UNIFORM "ROTC High School". So immediately I bounced around at the local stores taking notes, getting educated on Hot Tubs, because I'm going to need this EVERYDAY when I come home from work to relieve my lovely stress! That's when I came across Adam in the Brentwood location. He was the best; he had me so well educated that customers thought I worked their! The buying experience was the best! I took my time, he wasn't pushy and I love the way they support Veterans! So BRAVO ZULU for the great customer service, the delivery, the orientation, and I highly recommend Hot Spring Spas of Music City Brentwood "ADAM" to anyone that cares about how they're treated! My NEW PREFERENCE to Sail and feel the waves is in my PRODIGY Hot Tub by Highlife Collection.

I've had back problems for several years. I have been to many PT sessions, which has helped somewhat, but not long lasting. One of my visits to my pain management physician, the discussion of a hot tub came up. Soon after my appointment I started looking at different hot tub companies. The stop at my local HotSpring dealer sealed the deal in my search for a hot tub. HotSpring provided me with more information on hot tubs and spas than any other brand I had looked at. I have purchased the Prodigy. I use the hot tub twice daily along with my PT exercises and my back has felt better now, than it has anytime in the past year. Glad I found the HotSpring Prodigy.

Best investment. I've wanted a hot tub forever. My husband says we don't need a hot tub. Finally after years of wanting one he agrees. Needless say my husband spends more time in it then I do ! The bonus of using our hot tub is we are having quality time with other. Highly recommend a Hot Springs Spa.
