1990 Sovereign and going strong

Our 1990 Sovereign just turned 21. It is absolutely been the best purchase we have ever made!! The tub was in our 3 season family room for the first 15 years and in our backyard for the past 6. We love using it during the Wisconsin winters at 102 degrees with our stocking hats on and the snow swirling around our heads. In the summer we turn the temp down to 96 and enjoy a cool soak on a hot day.
It still has the original 5k heater and even the blue colored bulb is original. Two covers and only one service call in it's life. Best warranty ever. The shell and tiles look the way they did when it was new. We followed the Dealer's recommendation to not seal the wood and it still looks beautiful.
When I go to the dealer occasionally to buy chlorine or other chemicals, I look longingly at the new models but could never justify it to my wife because our '90 is still in such good shape!!
Oh, and by the way it will hold 11 people in a pinch - -or a Toga party.....

We spent a little more with our hot springs spa but it was well worth it. It is very comfortable and has enough different jets to ease all our troubled muscles. My husband has disc problems and I have fibromyalgia so pain relief is important to us. It is very easy to care for and there is never an over chlorinated smell since the ozinator helps keep it clean. It heats up very quickly after water changes.

Happy in our Sovereign

For meeting our needs, we rate the Sovereign highly. My husband is a distance runner and I am a fitness instructor--we use our spa a lot and now wonder how we ever recovered from workouts without it! Our biggest challenge in finding the right spa was accommodating (his tall and my petite) body types--the Sovereign works well for us. We also appreciate the spa's size that does not overwhelm our space. In our opinion the Sovereign only lacks a headrest in one corner seat and jets on the lounge for lower legs. Otherwise, we are most happy with our purchase.

2003 bought used.

Had a 1986 Hot Spring Indoor/Outdoor spa for 25 years. Found a used 2003 Hot Spring Souverign for $700 dollars from a guy moving not wanting to haul it only needing a new top. This tub is like new and is cheap to operate. Im confident it will give me as many years as our first one.

When I bought my house, it came with a hot tub, but not a Hot Springs brand. We loved using it, and decided that if it ever broke down, we would replace it. Although "Old Faithful" gave us lots of pleasure, we were pouring money into repairs every summer. We decided to give it the "heave'ho", and replaced it with the Sovereign. We are extremely happy that we upgraded to this spa. It is terrific! We have had it for one year so far. The only downside is that we had to find our own electrician. It would have been far more convenient if the dealer would have had their own electrician install it, and taken care of those details.

We have never owned a hot tub before, so not much to compare to, but after viewing various models and brands, we love every feature of the Sovereign! Each seat offers a different area of jet massage, so our routine of making the rounds to each seat makes for a complete massage! Inexpensive to maintain as far as cost of electricity and minimal use of chemicals. Provides ultimate,year-round relaxation after a long day!

Have always wanted a spa. After taking down the pool of 15 years, we purchased a Hot Springs hot tub. I did tons of research. Spoke with a friend who sold hot tubs. (And he didn't sell Hot Springs). I got a good deal from Watson's. And am happy with my purchase. It does not run up the electric bill as others do. Easy to maintain. Enjoy every second of it.

Great tub! Smaller size allowed us to put it on our covered deck. Third Hot Springs Tub for us. First one we had for almost 20 years. Second and third are still with us.
Good quality rating: because I think they need to redo the jet handles to a better design which eliminate the "wings"
Value rating: because they are pricy but you get what you pay for.
I would like to see the hydro therapy jet a little higher to be able to get at more body parts

Great spa, I have owned 1 previously and my new house had a different spa that was of poor quality, hard to maintain and heat. The family finally uses the tub again! the only down side I would give the spa is sometimes small debris does not seem to filter out efficiently, but other than that it is great and I would buy another in a heartbeat.

I purchased the Sovereign approx. 7 years ago. I have severe back problems and it was recommended by my physician to try a hot tub. I looked at several, the Sovereign seemed to be exactly what we were looking for. We put the tub on an enclosed patio and we use it daily all year long! In the summer we lower the temp and in the dead of winter it's a toasty 102 degrees. Here in Maine, that's quite a treat in winter months. Our electric bill went up approx. $30 a month in the winter months when we installed the tub. In the summer, it's probably around $15.
Since owning the tub, we have not had one problem! We've purchased the new "ceramic" filters which work great and clean up so easily. The silver-ion filter is so easy to install, we're on the "auto delivery" through our dealer. We never have problems with spa water levels - never any bacteria, ph is always perfect - it's just too easy!
We would HIGHLY recommend this tub! You can't go wrong!

One recent evening I tripped, fell and injured my foot, ankle, knee and leg. I knew nothing was broken but in the moring I couldn't put any weight on it and could barely walk. My husband suggested the hot tub and after only 10 minutes I could walk and had no pain. No drugs and I was on my way. There is a reason NFL locker rooms have hot tubs! I always feel amazing after a short soak and this one is BEAUTIFUL!

This spa is easy to care for and is large enough for other family members. I love the back massage jets. It really helps my arthritis. The local dealer is great to test the water and is very helpful.

We had 1 Jacuzzi spa and then bought a used Hot Springs which we enjoyed for 4 years and sold for the same price we paid. This was the only Spa we knew we would buy. Thank you for making the best hot tub on the market

After enjoying our first Hot Springs Sovereign Hot Tub for 16 years, with no problems or decline in its appearance, we passed it along to another family member to enjoy and purchased a new Sovereign model. I would highly recommend the Hot Springs products to anyone looking to purchase a Spa.
