Sovereign spa not what expected

We recently purchased the Sovereign spa and had high expectations since this was the premium product and we paid a premium price. We have been so disappointed as the jets don't have sufficient power. The lounger jets are supposed to move up and down your back when on but when all jets are on, the lounge jets don't have sufficient power to move up and down. Also, when all the jets are on, the power from all the jets are not very powerful at all so you don't get the relaxation effect you would expect.

The Sovereign spa does have two jet systems, and I want you to know that jet system one is the only one that operates the Moto Lounger back jet. I’ll make sure to send you information about how to operate the jets, as I hope this will enhance your experience.

I bought a sovereign brand new. It had a lot of problems and the cost and the power usage I am ready to take it to the dump!!! I will never buy another one. I AM A MAD CUSTOMER!!!!!!!!!!

unfortunately The Hotspring brand is not what it used to be. Customer service is not important for Mainley Tubs and Watkins We purchased our tub in February 2024 for our 35th anniversary which was May 5,even though the tubs was in Maine it wasnt delivered until may 17th for Mainley tubs convience again not the customer. After waiting for delivery our tub was delivered without the IQ system that was purchased in February. The IQ system put in in July,but doesn't work,even after doing what was recommended.So for a tub that was suppose to be less work,relaxing is not. I think the fact that there was no apololgy,only excuses tells you alot about what type of companies you are dealing with,nothing like we dealt with before. we wont recommend hotsprings brand again ,and will encourage people who like our tub to purchase a different brand.

Very happy with my Hot Spring Spa. Easy to care for and Great support.. The process of buying the spa having an installed and getting it working, was a lot easier than I thought it .I would recommended to anybody on the fence about a spa.

Evening relaxation

Almost every evening we wind down using our spa. Calculating $100.00 of use each day, (guessing cost of visiting a spa at a resort) we used up the first $3,000.00 of cost of spa. And it was only installed in June. Haven't use the heater, since we've been using the spa to cool down during the hot summer days and nights. The pulsating lounge feature is a BIG win as it really relaxes the back after a long day working in the yard. A daily 5-10 minute routine each morning has kept our spa clean and clear. Very little chemical additions needed. Couldn't be happier and feel the purchase was the best decision we made along with our new deck. Looking forward to using the spa with heat mode this fall and winter.

For the longest time, I knew I wanted a hot tub—I just couldn’t make my mind up if it was worth the expense. I was worried about the cost of the tub, the monthly bills and the hassle having to deal with maintaining one. Never having had a hot tub before I was leery of all of these aspects. I thought, if I’m gonna get a tub, I want it to be a good one. I want the tub to last for a long time and I want it to be easy to maintain and I want it to have nice features. When I called Hot Springs and talked to Cody, I was instantly convinced that this was going to be a good purchase. He found me exactly what I was looking for and described the benefits of having the tub and how easy it is to maintain. He asked me how often I thought I would use the tub and I said every day. And I can honestly say now that I have it, it’s been the best purchase ever! I get in the tub every morning and every night for 15 minutes (haven’t missed a day since getting it 7 weeks ago!). I’ve struggled with my health for the last two years due to Covid. I believe that this heat therapy is helping my body heal. I’m getting better rest and it’s just a wonderful relaxing experience to be able to sit in the tub outdoors— looking at the clouds and seeing the trees blow in the wind. I found the tub to be fairly easy to maintain as well. To be honest, this tub was twice as much as I planned on spinning on a hot tub, but I know now that it was worth the extra. I’m looking forward to using this tub for years to come!!

I wasted the last 4 years of my life not having a hot tub. Now that I actually pulled the trigger and bought one I realized I was just missing out. We have a family of six that use it regularly 3-4 times a week, and we all enjoy it so much. Great time to sit, relax, and talk. If your on fence just do it. You won't regret it unless you don't like relaxing and bonding with your family!

We have owned a Hot Springs Hot Tub since 1989. We just moved to NC from NJ and purchased a new Sovereign. It is a dream every time we slip into the tub. We couldn't be happier with the product and dealer we got it from.
I recommend Hot Springs to anybody interested in a hot tub..

We love the spa the only thing that's been an issue is the monitoring system seems a little erratic. It will say the chlorine or PH is too high but when you test it it's OK. Sometimes the readings change in the short time you're in the spa. Example, PH to high is suddenly it's OK when you get out of spa. I love the fact that we don't have to add chlorine every day. Overall a great spa.

Brand new spa broken and missing pieces

Purchased a new spa from a local dealership and upon delivery the spa has a leak that can not be fixed without ripping the foam insulation out and taking it back to the shop. Spa was not even a day old when the leak was discovered and now I have to go thru a bunch of hoops to find out what is going to happen. The spa is getting picked up and taken back to the selling dealer and then I’m supposed to wait for some resolution. I am just being told I have to wait and see. Also the spa was missing the moto massage jets and had an issue with the waterfall features. So clearly a defective spa, and a brand is only as good as how they handle problems, so far I’d give them a 0 star rating.

Our hot tub is delivered, electrical installed BUT calls to post delivery with detailed request for appointment are neither acknowledged nor answered... TWICE! Also sent email as directed with same request - NOT answered.
Management must know this department of Olympic is understaffed based on customer feedback. Perhaps this all occurs AFTER you have cashed my checks it is being ignored.

While the hot tub is nice to look at it lacks the pump power to operate the entire system at the same time. You have to decide who gets the jets and if you do have them all on you can barely feel them. This is my second Sovereign and it’s nothing like my first.

We've made quite a few changes since your last spa 18 years ago, including increasing the number of jets by eight and the filter size by 105 square feet. It's worth noting that we now only offer a voltage power of 230 volts, and the pump remains the same. However, we've also decreased the water capacity by 85 gallons while keeping the spa size the same.

This is our second Sovereign spa. Our first was from 2005 and we loved and used it throughout the years. We purchased our new Sovereign expecting the same great experience which sadly it is not. Jets are not nearly as strong and you can only do zones not the whole tub at once at full power. The light show is nice but honestly it’s the jets that people are looking for in a spa. Given the cost of these spas we expected the same quality as our previous one but that is not the case. My suggestion would be shop for a cheaper alternative as these are not worth the investment!
