Sovereign tub review

Bought the tub in July this year from Swansea, found the the sales team of Holly, Laura and Kayleigh very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. The access to our property is difficult but the installation team were were up to the task, very efficient and had the tub installed in excellent time.
I have seen tubs of the same size for half the price we paid but nowhere near the quality and insulation spec: of Hotspring, very pleased highly recommended.

My husband and I purchased a HotSpring hot tub about 16 years ago and used it twice a day every day for about 9-10 years. We sold our house and couldn't take it with us, now in our new house, we acquired a HotSpring hot tub and remember why and how much we loved the one we had. We are so glad to have a hot tub again.

Love the Sovereign hot tub by HotSprings. We recently moved into our retirement home in the NC mountains and purchased the hot tub to for our old bones and to enjoy with family. We included the the ACE system to reduce the number of chemicals we put in the water and simplify water care. Initial set up was more involved but the HotSprings representative walked up through it and offered to do it themselves if we wanted. Wouldn't go with any other brand.

We bought this hot tub from Martin in Ashford branch very informative and helped us through all the process and knowledge and depth of knowledge is countless. Delivery of our sovereign very easy didn't have to do anything on time and again informative. The hot tub itself is brilliant relaxing, comfortable, and very enjoyable. We looked at other brands but nothing come close to the quality, the cost or running costs. Very easy to look after comes with instructions on what to do that are simple to read and understand so chemical side of things are easy to work out. Fantastic buy me and family enjoy it and feel relaxed. Fantastic and thanks

Absolutely the best purchase for our home remodel! Love the upgraded Ace Salt Water Sanitizing System it leaves my skin so silky soft, it's easy to use, & clean. I have waited years to find a hot tub with the salt water care system, I have many allergies, and this is an amazing hot tub!

ACE Salt System very unreliable

We purchase our Sovereign in 2013 and have replaced the ACE cell twice and it is out again. Junk. They warranty the ACE cell for 1 year and it lasts 1 year and a day. We are going to have it removed and run with regular chemicals. Definitely not worth the added price for this marginal system

I am sorry to hear your Ace cell has stopped working just outside of the warranty period. We expect the cell to last anywhere between 18 to 36 months depending on water, spa usage, and care of the Ace system. My wife and I love our Sovereign and often use it morning and night. It is great way to start and end the day with great therapy and relaxation. I love the ease of maintaining the salt water system.

Great when new: so so now at 10 years old!

I loved this hot tub when we got it; we've only had a few problems like the heater going out but thankfully during the warranty, and we were able to get that fixed. But in recent years it has been one service call after another to get this hot tub running without either the heater going out again, or the jets just shutting off and losing power for no reason. I've replaced the filters, had the pump replaced, had GFI switches replaced but no one seems to be able to get it to run more than 10 to 15 minutes without it shutting off by itself! The lights stay on but the jets just stop and the pump shuts off as well. I'm not happy with it at the present moment, but I know others who have the same hot tub for a longer period with no problems at all.

I purchased my Sovereign II as an 04 leftover in 05. I had two service visits under warranty in the first 3 years & since a valve & control board was replaced: I’ve had zero issues (touch wood!!). I’m in it for chronic back/hip pain every other day- at least!! Very easy to maintain, low chemical use & ive only needed to replace the filters ONCE in 13 years. It still looks like it’s brand new!

Thank you for your review. Wow! Two sets of filters in 13 years is pretty impressive. We typically find they need to be replaced every 2 to 3 years. Though they can appear quite clean, the filter material will deteriorate over time, reducing the filtration and flow.

Nothing better than to relax in my Sovereign after a long day at the office or after a heavy work out. It relaxes the muscles and makes you forget everything. Lovely to chill with the mrs with a cold drink and bright stars. When it ever reaches end of life, a new one will be there the very next day.

Hold temp very well. Silent operation on filter only cycle. Jets are very powerful and well placed. Controls are intuitive and very flexible. Fairly quiet pumps even when full on. Energy expense (KY) is low. We love it. Best one so far.

We wanted to provide a “shout out” to Hot Springs for their long lasting high quality hot tubs. After 19 years, many power outages, Nor’easters, storms of all kinds, and many challenging restarts our Hot Springs Sovereign model hot tub is still working. Despite a few jets that are not working and a slow leak somewhere we enjoy getting in and rejuvenating our bodies and relaxing after a long work week. Hopefully it will continue to power and heat up and give us few more year’s of relaxation and much needed therapy.

Loyal to Hot Spring Spas!

Having previously owned a Hot Springs spa for years, when we moved to our new home we didn't hesitate one second knowing we would be getting a new model! We have enjoyed our Hot Springs spa experience for well over 16 years now and have shared our love for this quality product over the years. In fact, a few of our friends are now also Hot Spring spa owners. We lightheartedly refer to our spa as going to the "Chat Room' because we enjoy chatting about the day's events as well as tomorrow's plans. It's both relaxing and refreshing. Thank you for providing us with such a wonderful product that we can (and DO) enjoy on a daily basis!
