Just what I was looking for...

We had a hot tub years ago and truly enjoyed it but left it behind on one of our moves. For the last couple of years we have been trying to decide to add either a pool or a hot tub. We opted for the hot tub as we would get almost year around use out of it and we really miss the relaxation from soaking in the tub. Prices have gone up but well worth it! We purchased the Vanguard tub.

The HotSpring Vanguard Spa with ACE Salt Water System is the best long-term value for your money. The size of this hot tub is perfect for a family of 5. The salt water system is worth every penny when it comes to fewer chemicals, longer stabilization and use of water, easier cleaning and maintenance, and no chlorine-feeling or nasal congestion issues. I highly, highly recommend this spa!

I bought this spa 7 years ago because I was told that hot springs made high quality spas that lasted a lot longer than the more affordable brands. It made sense to me to invest more in something that was higher quality.
Unfortunately, We have had several issues with parts on the spa breaking. This started to happen right after the warranty period expired. These included:
-leaking
-massage jets broken
-display backlight broken
-broken gfi breaker
-massage jets broken
-display backlight broken
-broken gfi breaker
Since the tub was out of warranty hot springs support was unable to help us. :-(
Maybe more than five years of use without major issues is an unrealistic expectation, but we were really hoping it would last longer.

Blisters showed up all over acrylic after 2 yrs of paying cash for tub contacted hot springs No help at all said it was my fault for having in sun Thought that’s where people use them I feel I was done dirty Poor poor management I’m stuck with a tub I’m embarrassed to own Said it was my fault for having it in sun Where else do u use a hot tub??? We purchased our vanguard in 2006. We put it inside our deck and built a roof over it. We have kept it going year round since it was purchased and especially use it in our cold winters. We have replaced the control board once, and the moto massage hasn’t worked for years, but overall it has been a great quality hot tub. I would definitely recommend Hot Springs to a friend and would purchase another one if mine ever wears out. Thanks for making a quality product that lasts.

There is nothing better than to look forward to getting into my Vanguard after a long day in the operating room. All my muscle tension melts away! We had tub installed about a month ago and use it 4 out of 5 days. Excellent quality and easy operation make it great! Highly recommend it!

Vanguard Spa purchase for San Francisco home review

We purchased our spa a year ago now (i.e. 7/17/2017), installing it on a concrete pad in our backyard. We love using it on those cold, windy, and foggy evenings. Imagine sitting in 104 degrees of hot salt water bliss, watching the different lights and water jets spouting around us, while enjoying the massaging jets and talking with our family. We have two teenage girls and this has been a great family uniter as we all lead busy lives with work and school. Nothing like taking 30 minutes to relax together and unwind after studying or working all day. John Kastens and his team have been wonderful both during and after the buying process, the installation, learning to use it and enjoying it.

For parents of an infant this is a must have!

We got this spa delivered and set up right after our first son was born. In the 8 months since we got the tub we use it 4-5 nights a week and it gives us an excellent opportunity to decompress from the work day, and hectic nature of life with an infant. Not to mention how much better we sleep after getting out of the spa. Plus our water care is a fraction of what we expected. The ozonator and Silver Ion Mineral we use in the spa make it so easy to care for the spa.

Hot Springs Vanguard, 7 years old. Has been a great Spa. This year's the display was becoming problematic so I looked into replacing the control panel. Discovered that it has been discontinued due to issues and I would need to replace the control panel and control board at a great expense. Not very happy. If the part has been discontinued, it was obviously defective. The company should take some responsibility

I am sorry that your spa was in need of service. As it turns out the manufacture of the part that you needed is no longer making them. Wanting to make sure our customers still have an option to repair their spa if needed. We worked with another manufacture to produce an alternative. Unfortunately, with mechanics some times parts are no longer available. Creating a retrofit part/s gives spa owners a way to continue to use their spa.
Hot Spring has spas in use for the last 40 years. While some parts become unavailable we work to make sure new options (retrofit parts) are available for all of our spas.
If you should need to discuss this further Customer Service is available at 800-999-4688 ext 8432.
I hope that you conitune to use your spa for many years to come.

I have been in the hot tub industry for many years. There is no other spa like the Hot Spring High Life model spas. The open seated Vanguard with dual Moto Massage is amazing! The water quality on both Salt and Freshwater is so easy to maintain. Can't go wrong with a Hot Spring Spa!

I recently purchased the HotSpring Vanguard after spending several months investigating various hot tubs. I chose HotSpring because of their tubs design and construction, energy efficiency and warranty. Ryan and Erin were very helpful and patient in answering all of my questions and I enjoyed getting to experience the spa by taking a dip in it at the dealer’s location. Now I am looking forward to its delivery and being able to immerse myself in its warm and massaging waters.

We bought our tub on New Years Eve, and haven't missed a day since. Everybody has their own bedtime routine, and ours includes a soak in our HotSpring spa! After many hours on our feet working in the theatre, there is nothing more relaxing right before bed! The only downside to having our HotSpring Vanguard is that everyone on our street wants to use it too!

Love our new Hot Springs Vanguard! We purchased it & had it delivered just after Thanksgiving and we have really enjoyed it. The dealer we purchased it from was great during the buying process and was very easy to work with on the delivery. My husband has wanted a hot tub for years. We did a fair amount of reading articles & reviews before making our purchase and decided that a Hot Springs tub best met the qualities we were looking for in a hot tub. We have enjoyed relaxing in our hot tub during the late evenings,under the stars, with our grandkids & today in the snow for the first time. This was a wonderful gift to ourselves for Christmas & our anniversary! We look forward to enjoying this hot tub for many years! Thank you for a wonderful product!

I recently bought a new house with a Hot Spring Vanguard hot tub on the back deck. My wife and I honestly worried, not knowing too much about how to own and manage a hot tub was something that was intimidating and we were not too sure it was a worthwhile feature of our new property, after all, I didn't have if in my life for the first several decades of my life, why start now....
the prior owner gave me a brief description of what I should do every week to maintain and the advice "..just let it be, it will work for you!" but no other advise...
Well it's been a few months now and everything is great, My wife and I use it regularly. I was able to call a local retailer and found out they know the unit inside and out down to the serial number, they installed it!, They were able to tell me that it was a Vanguard and shared the link to the HS website manual. The provided some more advice and lots of reassurances. Now my confidence is high, I know that these are honestly "plug and play" for new owners with simple easy maintenance... and yes the rewards after a long day of moving heavy boxes, and intense workout, a stressful day in the office, or simply as a relaxing place to review the "Honey Do's" with my wife, being in the spa with fresh air all around, makes it all seem better and more manageable. And yes the maintenance and support really does seem effortless.
I sleep wonderfully and feel more relaxed in the days after a long hot soak. I look forward to continuing to use the hot tub, and if/when I need to move on from this unit, I will be looking to upgrade to a new unit and not pass up the perks of ownership.

We absolutely love our hot tub. We live up northern Minnesota and have a spas outside year long. Yes, we even use it when it is -45 degrees out. Also, the customer service has been outstanding. If you are considering on purchasing a hot tub, you will not be sorry on purchasing a Hot Spring hot tub.

I LOVE our Vanguard Hot Tub! I can't believe I waited so long to purchase one!
I have back issues that this tub really helps out with messaging up & down my spinal cord.
I highly recommend purchasing the Vanguard with the Salt Water System! You will love it too!
