Warning#1, Don't hose your spa pool cover on a hot day it contracts the inner metal and over time the top becomes concave instead of convex, these instructions are not provided with your spa pool, and when you do do this they don't want to know about it. Now dirt and bugs have easy access to my spa and it is no longer an effective insulator due to the now significantly raised edges.
Warning #2, Get a surge protector installed, so your pool is protected if there is a power spike. One was not installed with ours until after we had a power spike in May 2014 and it fried the circuit boards, we are still waiting for the repairs to be completed, pool is functioning, but repairs not completed.

This new grandee is the best decision we made to help our aching bodies after a long hard day at work! We use it twice daily and we feel that it helps us physically and mentally.

Ace saltwater sanitizing system was over sold. Ace cells are outrageously expensive and last about a year. Sales rep at local dealer claimed at least two years per cell. There are less expensive saltwater systems out there.

Thank you for your review. I am sorry that you are not happy with the ACE salt system. Yes,there are other salt systems available however, they all are not created equal. The technology that was designed for the Hot Spring spas is unique.
The ACE should last longer than a year. I would like to work with you and see how we can make some adjustments that will extend the cell life.

I've always wanted a spa foe hydrotherapy and relaxation purposes. We're very happy with the Grandee. It's big enough for 6 adults or 2 adults and 2 children who find it hard to remain in one place in the tub. Our two boys enjoy spending time in the spa either either with the jets on or off. Sometimes I have to remind them to sit and relax and that it's not a swimming pool, but we all enjoy family time in the hot tub together.
My only complaint is the ACE saltwater system. It's simply not designed to handle a 500 gallon tub with the usage we put it through. Even turned all the way up, it does not produce enough chlorine to handle an average to heavy bather load. I add dichlor after every use and don't get any value from the ACE system. When it comes time to change the water, I spend extra for salt and a calcium removal pillow that I would not otherwise need.

Our 2nd Hotspring Spa - fully convinced

After the Jetsetter (which we had in the winter garden on the third floor), this is our second Hotspring Spa. We use it regularly - in winter and in summer time.
Just great - we, the adults, as well as the kids love it.

We are fully convinced about the quality of Hotspring. This Spa is from 1999 and still running year round without any hassels. They are more expensive than other spa's, but the difference is worth it.

We purchased our Grandee after a long deliberation on which model to purchase. We have never second guessed the decision. We sleep better and more importantly love the unplugged time it has created with our teenage boys. Love our tub!

We purchased our first hot tub 2 months ago (HotSpring Grandee) from Montana HotSprings in Billing MT who were very professional and knowledgeable and have a excellent reputation for service. We use our Grandee twice daily, it has become a household appliance that we would not want to be without and we wonder why we did not buy one sooner. After researching more other brands we kept going back to HotSpring b/c of the quality, energy efficient and service. It is great to look forward to relaxing in our spa at the end of a long day!

We live in Michigan and use this every day. Our favorite is below zero weather with the snow blowing.
Easy to take care of.
If I ever had to replace our tub, would buy a HotSpring again. It is 15 years old with very few issues.

I love my hot tube, I use it almost every night. The only time I do not use it if it is 100 degrees still, t 0800 PM. I have had this for 7-8 years.

Exactly what we wanted! Big enough to fit family and friends. The jets of the 2 moto massage seats are very impressive. We spend hrs in our tub just chatting away under the stars. The sound system is a must!

My wife and I use our HotSpring Grandee every night as our way to decompress from the stresses of the day. Even without the jets the ability to watch the stars and find peacefullness that lasts through the night as nothing else can. What makes it happen though is the ease of owning and taking care of it. Virtually no problems over the past 9 years with routine filter cleaning and water maintenance. I wish all the items in my life were that trouble free!

My Hot Springs spa is over 20 years old and it still works perfectly! Granted I have had a few repairs over the years, but they have all been minor repairs. The basic rock solid structure of my Hot Springs spa has been incredible. All of the electrical controls still work, both inside the spa as well as the outside controls.
