Nice and relaxing but the lights are burned out.

This is my second hot Spring Spa but I wouldn't buy another until the repair designs have been improved. Within the warranty period some of the lights have burned out. The repairman was great but couldn't properly replace the burned out lights as he could not reach them. The spa needed to be raised with a crane at my expense. Dr. Bergman

We took delivery of our Hot Springs Grandee Spa with the Ace Salt Water system in August of 2014. We have had many memorable moments enjoying and relaxing in our Spa. We have also had many quality concerns. More importantly the lack of support from the manufacturer. In the 2 1/2 years we had our spa the main control panel had to be replaced within the first 2 months, 2 jets broke, and just this past September 2016 one of the pumps was shorting out. It was all covered under warranty. Now in talking with the store where we purchased our spa it appears the ACE Salt Water cell is not working properly and only has a 1 year warranty. I found out that the ACE Salt Water cell has a life span of 3 to 5 years depending on the usage. They are expensive to replace.

In regards to the ACE system, it does have a 1.5 to 3 year life span. Just like any water care system it will deplete and need to be replaced.

We purchased our Vista with the ACE salt water system and absolutely loved our hot tub. We maintained it weekly and had zero issues with it. The staff a Hot Springs Jamison Pa are awesome and always there to answer any questions.

I wish I'd bought our grandee spa soone. I also added the salt water system which is well worth the price in gold! It is alot easier to care for using less chemicals and alot better for the body. I highly recommend this spa system to anyone hands down! Since buying this spa i have hooked up over a dozen people to buy this spa since july 2016 and they all have said they love it too. The customer service is above and beyond at the fargo n.d. store. They are extremely helpful for all my needs no matter how small.

I have used multiple Hot Springs Grandee spas over the last 15 years. In 2002, my parents purchased a Grandee, which I was fortunate to be able to use for several years. My brother in law also has an older Grandee spa, which has worked great for many years. I've personally owned two Grandee spas. The first one I owned was manufactured in 2000. This spa lasted 16 years with no issues. I live in Minnesota, and we deal with a WIDE range of temperatures. These spas have no problems holding their internal temperatures when it's below zero outside. This year I was able to upgrade to a new Grandee. I could not be more impressed. These new hot tubs have features out the wazoo! We decided to include the Bluetooth audio system. I'm very happy with the choice. The sound quality surpasses the previous spadio systems! The touch screen remote is an awesome feature. The multiple zones of LED lighting are great. The jets are powerful. This is the first Grandee I've used with the dual moto-massage jets. They're by far my favorite jets in the spa.
All in all, these spas are very good quality. They're well put together, and last many years when properly maintained.

I live with my family on a 25th floor. I bought a SPA in @ambiente_Azul, representative of the Hot Spring brand in Colombia. I made the mistake of buying a shallow SPA and when they installed it on the terrace of my apartment I realized that it was very uncomfortable. I contacted the dealer who understood the situation and immediately offered to change the SPA without finding any obstacle and knowing the difficulties to lower the previous one of my terrace and go up the new one 25 floors by the front of the building again. I want to thank the company @ambiente_Azul because thanks to their excellent work now I can enjoy with my family the SPA that I dreamed.

My neighbors wished they had a hot tub like mine. So easy to clean and maintain. You gotta get the built in sound system! Nothing like relaxing and listening to some hot music in the soothing hot water, with a light show to top it off!
Hot tube 101. Leave it on 101, then if you like it hotter turn it up an hour or less before tub time and it will be ready!

We purchased a Grandee. It's the first hot tub I've ever owned. It has been relatively easy to take care of. Your definitely pay for the quality, but after owning it for six months I would definitely say I would purchase the same model again.

My Grandee suffered a defective outer shell after less than one year. The dealer immediately called the manufacturer and my spa was immediately replaced. No hassle at all.
The full warranty replaced my entire spa!

We LOVE our new spa! So far, we have found it easy to maintain, and what could be better than jumping in a hot tub when it's cold outside. It's a beautiful addition to our new outdoor living space. Our experience with Hot Spring Spas has been the best. They were so patient as we took our time making our decision and they answered all of our questions knowledgeably, even allowing us to try one out before we purchased. Installation day went wonderfully, and they have responded quickly to a couple of minor issues we had. We are definitely pleased with the product and the service we have received.

It's a leaker! We have had numerous leaks. Had to send back to dealer numerous times for repairs. Struggle to get timely response from dealer to address the leak / required us to contact hot springs to help enforce warranty repairs.

Great spa the two moto massage chairs are amazing. Wish the foot jets at the bottom would be more powerful. The cordless remote is amazing. Its a bit buggy have had to reset it a couple of times. The blue tooth speakers are a must!
Tub is very effeient and holds the water temp even on cold nights with the cover off!

Recently purchased this hot tub. Was able to get it just in time for the Christmas holiday. Have always wanted a hot tub and did a lot of research. I have to say that the Grandee met all of my expectations and more...the moto massage is absolutely the best invention since sliced bread. Would highly recommend this hot tub. Our dealer, Swim Again Pools and Spas, were top notch from purchase to installation and set up. They absolutely went out of their way to make sure the hot tub was up and running in no time at all.

LED lights

LED LIGHTS BLEW AFTER 3 years. maybe 50-60 hours of use. Found out today, that we can't access the LED lights for repair easily. They said it would take 3 hours PER light to repair. There are 3 pillow lights. The LED wires were run in series and they are positioned deep UNDER the spa seats and not near the top edges, that would have been more easily accessible--- an engineering FLAW. I think its ridiculous that the parts that need to be accessed in the future wouldn't have been placed in a better position for techs later.
Also, went to order new cover, as cover began taking in moisture and became VERY HEAVY, actually dangerous now. There is a 4-6 week wait. We are in the Northeast and only use the spa in winter....having to wait a month is ridiculous.
I'm a reasonable person and own a business myself. The customer support isn't good at all. BUYER BEWARE !!

Thank you for your review. We have been in contact with you and your dealer. We are exploring what out of warranty options are available for your repair. The dealer will contact you with that information. I am glad that you are asking these questions. It is important for other spa owners who want to set their spa in a deck to know everything that is needed. Hot Spring website has a Customer Installation Guide. One of the things this guide mentions is having a minimum of 24 inches of clearance about the entire spa. Please see the guide for complete information. Hot Tub covers will need to be replaced. They come with a two year warranty. The life of the cover can vary depending on exposure, material used on cleaning and operation. I like to think of covers like tires on a car. The will need to be replaced it is just a matter of when and it is something that no one likes to do. Because we make our covers for all spa models we have manufactured for the last 30+ years, we make the covers once they are ordered. We also have a factory shut down for the end of the year. Taking that into consideration and travel time across the United States, 4-6 weeks is a reasonable time line to get a new cover.
