Why have I waited so long to purchase?

I had been looking for spas for a few years and thought they were just a luxury item. I wanted to relax, as I spend many hours bending over beds, chairs, tables, etc at the hospital I work at as an occupational therapist. The Grandee is like going to a 5 star massage parlor and getting every muscle group relaxed and loosened. I used to wake up several time throughout the night. Now I sleep like a baby. I am so relaxed getting out of my hot tub, I feel like a wet noodle. If you are on the fence about making a major purchase, you should dive in and let the rest of your life be absolute enjoyment.

Two Year Decision

My wife and I decided to buy a hot tub for our family, so the research began, two years it took.
We looked at every manufacture and options (lounge or no lounge, salt water vs. chlorine, energy consumption etc....) we asked a million questions, Every manufacture has it own little different options.
,but not all have quality !
The one thing that kept coming back to us was the quality that "Hot Springs has over the other manufactures. Design,energy efficient, quality and warranty.
Hot Springs has all these options.
We feel like we bought the BEST Hot tub on the market !
We love our spa and highly recommend it to everyone.

I have owned my Grandee spa for 18 years now! I have loved the jets and the size. Great for a stress reliever after a tough day.
It is amazing with a few repairs that it is still going strong!

Continued problems with controls and moto massage . Other than that we love the tub. It's 12 years and unfortunately has a leak and with the other problems it's not worth repairing. With that said we are looking at hot springs again. It's the best on the market even with the problems. Hopefully the newer NXT models have them corrected

good while it lasted

Great hot tub in the beginning. I cleaned it everyday. Hosed the filters every week. Monitored the chemicals every other day. There is no reason why I should have issues after only 2.5 years. Beware some things only have a 1 year warranty. I was still having issues from the start up at about 4 months into owning it. And as many times as I had a tech come out to look at it, they don't seem to have a record of them being here for that reason.

Great Tub, Poor electronics

Overall, we have been very happy with our Grande Spa. However, the remote almost never works without rebooting the system and the remote every time we want to use the Spa. Sometimes, even the buttons on the spa will not work without rebooting the spa.
This first began within a week or two after taking delivery. They worked on the spa off and on and finally after a couple of months they replaced the remote. It worked fine for a couple of months but then began having problems again. The problems continued to get worse and worse until we have now called out the service technician again because rebooting the system does not always work. It has become an issue that the only way the remote will work is if you remove the battery, reboot the spa, then replace the battery immediately and hope it will find and operate the spa.
We are now waiting and hoping the next visit will fix it, but this is the third visit in less than a year.

Relaxation at its best

We have had our grandee for five months now and use it at least five times a week. Not only my husband and I but our two children as well. There is plenty of room in it where we do not feel cramped like all the other models we have tested out. We are so happy we decided to go with the largest model of the Hot Springs tubs, it makes every evening enjoyable.
The reason I rated the comfort only a 4 and not a 5 is because the power of the jets is so powerful, which is great, but it pushes me off the seat. I wish they would have put a ridge in the bottom of the hot tub higher than the one they already have so that at least I can brace myself in position. I am 5'8" and find myself sitting with my feet on my seat to keep me in place. My husband who is 6' has no problem though.
In regards to energy, in the winter in PA we kept it at 104• and our electric bill was about $80 more a month. We got the tub in November so I will see what the difference is once the weather breaks.
Overall, very happy with our purchase and would not do it differently second time around. The size for the two of us is perfect, we are not cramped, it is very relaxing and enjoyable.

This is our first saltwater tub and we love it. Much better on the skin and much easier to maintain than the old version. This tub is very comfortable and we have had many friends sit in it and they too have now bought their own! I would highly recommend this series of tubs.

We had nothing but trouble with the Grandee. We had to have the moto jets replaced every year. After the warranty was up they would not do anything for us even though they knew they had to be replaced every year. Would not recommend the spa to anyone.

It is hard for me to get a good sleep. Since investing in a hot tub I find myself much more relaxed and I also sleep a lot better. I recommend a HotSpring hot tub to everyone!

What an excellent product! We bought our Grandee a year ago and have not been disappointed. Minor cosmetic issues but no mechanical ones. This wasn't the only unit we looked at, but it was the best. Worth every Penney . Chiller unit makes thisspa useable during the summer. Keeps water at 100 degrees year round.. quiet and maintenance free.

On the ease of water care it was no fault of Hot Springs manufacture but the company that I purchased the spa. They (Watsons) did a very poor job of showing how to maintain and check the chemical levels in the spa to a point that my wife came down with hot tub folliculitis.
I had to contact the Hot Springs dealing in Dayton Ohio to help me with the problem. Once we drained and cleaned the tub and properly maintained chemicals the correct way, we have no more issues. Knock on wood.
The Hot Springs dealer in Dayton Ohio will be the only dealer I will deal with in the future even though they are an hours drive from my house.

I don't need to imagine how life would be waking up to a nice dip in the spa watching the sunrise, or right before bed, watching the shooting stars....I live it every day.
Our Grandee has been one of our best investments in our life from both a fun and family time perspective, but also a health and wellness perspective.
It's a sinch to maintain, very energy efficient, and just makes you feel great. Ya wanna be the most popular destination on your block, go get one now! You will be glad you did.

We have had our Grandee for almost 4 years and enjoy it so much. Easy to maintain, and always ready for a soak. Great to soak in after a long winter day on a cold night!! Looking forward to many more years of enjoying our Hot Springs Grandee hot tub!!!

This is one tough spa

We have had our spa for several years now. When we first got it we used and enjoyed it regularly. Later significant work and family changes took priority over the spa and it sat unused and ignored for many, many months. During that time we had a flood that partially submerged the spa to just below the electronics. We've heard stories about neglected spas and expected to find a total loss when we decided to see if it could be put back into service. Much to our surprise all we had to do was drain it, clean the filters, refill it and change the circulating pump. The shell still looks brand new, the electronics, plumbing, heater, ozonizer, etc. all were fine. This unintended torture test proved we had invested in high quality design, materials and workmanship.
We did later decide to replace the two main pumps since they had been completely submerged for several hours, invest in a new cover and replace the head rest pillows. The high water also appears to have loosened the glue holding some of the panels, which we still need to resolve. Still, that's all pretty minor stuff compared to what we expected to find.
