Love my Grandee from Grand Forks Hot Springs and Spas. The salt water system is amazing, and I can't speak highly enough of how my hot tub. The staff at the Grand Forks store is great - always helpful with any questions I have about the system, water testing, etc. Top notch service with sales, delivery and setup. Was given a thorough walk-through of all the functions, including setting up the awesome Bluetooth sound system! Platinum service!

We have been using our HotSpring Grandee for over a year now and are still in love with the tub. Since day one it has been extremely easy to maintain and has great water with the ACE system. I typically check the water weekly but rarely have to respond with any checmicals. We currently only add PH or Chlorine when needed. No other chemicals needed. The additional Chlorine tends to only be after heavy use (we have kids). Even then, it's probably not needed as the ACE system will catch up to the heavy use. We change the water at the 6 month mark but could easily go longer. Since we are new to this we aren't taking chances yet. Cleaning the ceramic filters is super easy. Ususally spray them off but sometimes place in the dishwasher. We typically use the spa 3x week and love every minute of it. I am so glad we bought a HotSpring and the Grandee with the ACE system. Care of the water is typically the biggest compliant and it's so easy with this tub.

I had a grandee spa for 16 years that was still working but showing its age and thought it was time to replace. the old spa was great The modifications over 15 years are great ...not so deep in the corners that you want sit on one leg to be higher in water, arm rests, turn jets on / off individually, colored lights, easy water care, etc. Hope to be happy with new spa for another 16 years
Would also like to give props to my local dealer Ocean Spray - having a great service team if you ever have an issue is paramount.

I absolutely love my hot tub, especially during the winter months. It so satisfying and relaxing; It makes me feel like i live at my own resort year round. Don’t wait any longer, treat yourself to the best brand and experience out there. No regrets here!

We havr enjoyed our new grandee since we got it. We also added the salt system as its better for your body and no added chemicals to work with. This spa is so easy ti work with and use when using it. It has lots of jets ti help with sore bodies and also has different types of jets for different occasions. This spa is well worth the money as your health is worth more than the price you pay for the spa. I highly recommend this spa to anyone. We gave had six different couples sit in our spa and loved it and all of them now have purchased the same hotsprings grandee spas with the salt system. Just try one and you wont regret it.

This is our second Hotspring spa. Our original 1997 Prodigy spa lasted this long and we loved it! When it was finally lime to trade in, the Grandee was a fantastic step up for us. My wife and I both suffer from back pain and find real relief and relaxation in our spa.. Thanks Hotspring!!

Excellent construction and very durable. I have had my Grandee tub for 22 years and it is still going strong. Very easy to care for and provides hours of entertainment and relaxation. Being the largest tub available it uses more electricity than I original thought. But it is worth it. I highly recommend a hot tub from Hot Springs,

Leaking Hot Tub - Purchased in 2013

I have had my Hot Tub picked up 2 times for repairs (same issue) leaking. I have also mentioned the Hi/Low pump setting is having issues. My concern is how long will my 10K investment last my Hot Tub is only 4 years old. I take good care of my hot tub - I owned one previously which lasted 13 years.This one does not appear to be the same quality
Be careful when thinking of purchasing.

Almost impossible to hook up hose to drain it. Difficult location. Cannot extend out so you can thread a hose on it. Cheap plastic threads that strip extremely easily.
Owned it for a year. Had to drain it 4 times to take try to rebalance the chemicals. Salt system made so much chlorine while we were away that the jet ports corroded. Had to drain because of algae twice.

However, you bring up a great point that I think is good to share. When you have ACE it is important to not over chlorinate the water. The ACE system will give a constant output that you set. You mentioned that it over chlorinated while you were away. The spa does not know if you use it or not and does not self regulate. It is important to reduce the output while away or during low usage. It can result in jets becoming rusty from the excess amount of chlorine. This also applies when your spa is being used more than usual. You will have to adjust the output to accommodate the extra bathers and time in the spa. When the ACE is properly maintained, water can last up to a year. I will see what we can do to help get your spa balanced.

I have had my Grandee for 15 years, love it. Only problems that we really had were when it was still under warranty. I am looking to replace with another because the pump finally gave out. Will get another hot spring.

Awesome hot tub ! Love the different variety of jets , it's great to sit at one spot for 5 min and move on to the next set of jets !! So relaxing and I sleep like a baby after being in the tub before bed. Love the different modes of LED lights and the different mode settings. Over all Awesome hot tub !!

Grandee spa still enjoyed after over 28 years

I purchased my Grandee spa in 1989.
It is still in use and, in fact, I used it last night.
I will be rebuilding the deck surrounding the spa in the near future, and will likely purchase a new spa unit at that time.
Based on over 28 years of satisfaction, a new Hot Sping spa is the only new spa I could possibly consider.

History repeats itself

I first bought a Grandee in the early 90's, and watched my kids grow up in it, partied with friends in it, coffee in the morning during a snow storm, and late at night with my wife watching the stars. I was thoroughly happy with our tub but over time, 20 years, it began to break down, a lot due to poor site construction on my part. Our new Grandee is everything our old one was but better, more jets, better jets, salt water, more amenities. The stars still look as good, can't wait till it snows, just wish my kids were still young and living at home.

Just got our new hot tube delivered and we are so pleased! I took a bit longer than we expected but seems to be working okay. We did get the bluetooth and ACE system. The bluetooth might need to be tweaked a bit because it is cutting in a out but i'm sure service will take care of it. As far as the ACE i think (and hope) it will make taking care of the spa easier. The best part was our salesman, Jim. He is so helpful even after the purchase he is helping us! Thanks Jim!

This is the second Gandee that I've owned. My 1st was a 2008 that I did have some skirting issues with. But Watkins did take care of that, even past Warranty. The new Grandee is the Highlife NXT. It seems to be larger inside than the old tub? I love the new exterior lighting, and the look of the skirting. It also has more power at the jets than before. The only negative is that the corner seats jetting is so strong, that It pushes you out of the seat. They should put a hump in the foot well, so you can hold yourself into the seats. Other than that So far so good, with no regrets.

What a wonderful way to start or end day. So relaxing and there is no harsh chemical smells. This tub fits our needs perfectly, I would recommend it to anyone who is in the market for a hottub.
