I have owned this spa just over 4 years and have used it for about 10 to 15 minutes daily. It is easy to maintain, has performed well and has been reliable with two exceptions: the cover; and the bar top lights. The first cover developed a failure in the vinyl at the center folding location after about three years and replacement cover developed a failure at one of the cradle lift hard points after only a few months but is under warranty. The bar top lights remain inoperative.
Overall the Aria is an excellent spa and I recommend it for its design capabilities, i.e., number of users.

LOVE MY HOT TUB

I use my hot tub almost every day, sometimes twice a day. It makes my aging body more nimble, and eases muscle ache. This is probably the best investment I've made in my home. I would live without it.

Ace System Problematic

I've needed to replace the Ace cell (salt water system) four times in the past five years. No one is sure why the device lasts considerably less time that it should in my unit.. I've kept the chemical levels within tolerance and now have purchased a water softener to further reduce the calcium level in the water.
On the other hand, HotSpring has been understanding with their replacement policy on the Ace cell, but I'm just waiting for the last replacement from a year ago to fail anytime now and probably without further consideration. The cells are quite expensive!
Otherwise the spa itself has functioned well with a few minor replacements over the last five years - all under warranty.

A water softener will help with any calcium build up on the cell and that should keep it active longer. The ACE cell does have a life spa, however I am happy to hear you have had them covered up to this point. Please let us know if you have any further questions on water care with the ACE cell.

"ARIA" Perfect!!!

The only problem we have with the tub is that we waited so long to purchase it. With college sports finally catching up with us, we now have a personal masseuse that helps us out every night. It is very powerful and is so relaxing. I would highly recommend the Aria if you are thinking about getting a hot tub!

I purchased the show room model and it had some problems when it was set up that were repaired within a couple weeks of delivery. The unit is in good overall condition but the filter gate mounting device has broken twice and on occasion the pump one circulation clean motor will drop out and not work after a couple cycles. I have had the unit trip the breaker and have had to reset it then it works fine until the next time. I would do my research as I am a previous Cal Spa owner and I like the Hot Spring with the salt sanitizer. Take care JP

My wife and I have owned the Aria for almost 2 years and it is as good and exciting as it was on day 1. Worth every dollar, we use about 4 times a week, chemicals are reasonable and easy to add. After our first year we decided to have the professional cleaning done, which I believe should be done once a year and kept the tub looking new inside and out.

I bought my Aria as a retirement gift from me to me. I looked at several different spa manufacturers, and decided to purchase the Hot Springs. This was three years ago, and I have NEVER regretted my decision. Maintenance is a breeze. It is a fabulous place to relax and ease the tensions of the day. Highly recommend Hot Springs spas.

Had the hot tub 10 months now we both use every week, great for relaxation taking the aches and pains away, having looked at every brand on the marketplace, it was very clear you get what you pay for and the Service from Milton Keynes by Dan was 110% and after service care.
Size is perfect for 2 with the laydown area and also for socialising (5).
Not the cheapest but why would you when this is a long term investment.
Just whats needed with a glass of wine with the wife next to me looking up at the stars relaxing with our time together!
Invested in a pump to drain the water quicker when replacing the water etc, done in 4 hours, rather than the drain system plug which is a lot slower.

I looked at just about every tub, found lots of them much cheaper. Cheaper isn't always better, so glad I spent the extra money to get one of the best tubs on the market.

We tried a number of different hot tubs, but none seemed to fit us as well as the aria. We can both get comfortable in all 5 of the seats, while smaller and larger tubs found us struggling to brace our feet and we found ourselves floating away.
We don't yet know what it's costing to run as we've only had it 2 months, but we have solar panels so it won't be that great.
Biggest reason for choosing Hotspring as a brand was the excellent support we had at the Reading Hotspring World showroom

We brought our hot tub second hand as we weren’t sure whether or not we could justify buying a brand new one, we chose a Hotsprings tub because our friends had a 17 year old one which is still going strong even now. When the spa arrived it was quickly installed and up and running in no time. The team that installed it was extremely helpful taking the time out to explain how to use the chemicals. Being a 6 year old tub we have had a few minor problems (mainly with the audio unit) but a call to HTA and problem sorted. One of the best purchases we’ve made – great for soothing aching muscles and backs – just wished we’d brought one years ago.

My wife and I love to get in the spa late night before bed. It is extremely relaxing to sit in the spa and look at the stars. It has become our own little private getaway.

We chose the Aria because it came closest to our size and features requirements and also because it was highly rated in consumer publications. I have a lot of problems with my calf muscles and the Aria has a lounge chair seat that includes two jets for each calf. I was hoping those jets would ease some of the pain I often have. Well, the jets worked even better than I'd hoped! As long as I use the spa 2-3 times a week, I now have no pain at all! This has solved a problem that I had for 25 years! I had been getting deep tissue massages, which reduced but never eliminated the pain. In other words, the Aria is actually better than a massage therapist!
My wife and I have learned that if we leave the jets on and rotate around the seats, it's almost like getting a full body massage. Wow! We never expected that.
The Aria also has features that our grandchildren really like, such as the water feature that arches three streams across the tub. They also like the multiple light system, with the lights continually changing hues.
The Aria was a replacement for an earlier Hot Springs model that we used several times a week for 20 years. We loved that spa and hated to see it go but this new one is even better. Because we were so happy with the earlier spa, we never seriously considered a different brand.
If we had it to do over again, we'd still purchase the Aria. It's pretty close to perfect.

We purchased the Aria model and have been so happy with our choice. We have received great customer service when needed. The quality of the spa is excellent. The only reason that I personally rated comfort at good instead of excellent is because I am 5'1" and the different seating arrangements are of course designed for an "average" height. But I make do just fine and love it. We made a great choice with the Aria because it has a seat inside that we use as a step for getting in and out. A great design for the aging body. Not many spas offered this design. The only feature we would add if we could would be additional jets designed for standing in front of to massage the front of one's knees. We highly recommend this design and very Highly recommend the Hot Springs spas.

Best purchase we've made in recent history. We renovated our cellar and literally had to open up the foundation to get it in. Don't regret it for a minute. Again one of the best purchases we've ever mad. Ease of maint. comfort etc. meet or exceed expectations.
