We bought our Hot Springs Envoy Spa in June of 2004. We stopped using in 2007. I drained it and stored the filters properly. The pandemic hit in 2020 and we decided to fire it back up. Amazingly other then to have to replace the spa cover and a few small items. Everything still works! And that’s what it’s all about.

1. purchased in 2014. 2. leaks started 2016 3. Our dealer Georgia Spa very helpful 4. 2 warranty trips 2 sides of the spa torn out to find leaks. 5. 2019 warranty runs outs but the leaks keep on coming! 6. getting charged now to service and repair for the same problems it had during the warranty period.
conclusion; Not built to last, best to find a manufacturer focused on quality not units out the door.

I have enjoyed my Envoy for 15 years and its been great . I miss it I am told its not repairable at this time because it's got a leak in the wall and its not something that's worth tearing apart and I believe the sides are not replaceable. So I'd love to replace it but the prices are way more than they were 15 years ago so it's a shame because everything looks so much different in the tubs I've look at not as nice as a Hot Spring's! Hot Spring I think have the best or the nicest tubs I've ever seen and I love their jets they are excellent!!!

one big disappointment

we purchased our Envoy at a high cost for a hot tub , (nearly twice the cost of a previous tub ) and had delivered in Sept 2020 . It has sadly been one big disappointment. We were sold the idea of the freshwater salt system as good for your skin and easy to maintain . What a joke that has been , we have spent more time trying to sort out and monitor the water quality and cleaning filters than using the tub ! The salt system simply does not work , it does not generate the chlorine required to maintain levels , so every few days when the reading drops to 1 -2 we have to add chlorine granules . I specifically chose a spa where we wouldn't have to do this as it irritates my skin and this has now set off my eczema requiring steroid cream from the doctor. We are experienced hot tub owners having run 2 hots tubs previously for 12-14 years without any issues whatsoever. All along we have been blamed for 'contaminating the water' and causing the water balance issues even when it was green! I am sick of being told 'some people just don't get on with it' implying that we have chosen not to like it or make the effort in maintenance. We have spent more time on this than any other hot tub which has detracted significantly from it being a pleasure to own , we seem to have bought a lemon ! The set up was not done properly and we did not receive the required instructions . Eventually they have replaced the salt controller but it has made absolutely no difference whatsoever, the chlorine levels drop every 2-3 days consistently even though it doesn't have heavy use and we regularly clean the filters . Now we are being told it may be a phosphate problem. 2 months in it is clearly not as described and the salt system does not work. Customer service leaves a lot to be desired , in fact pretty appalling

We are very happy with our tub. We use it several times per week. It is very energy efficient compared to our old spa. Our one complaint is the cost to get wifi control. I am willing to pay for the equipment but you are forced to pay for a service to use the equipment.

Would not get salt water system again

I was sold at the dealership on how easy the saltwater system is to maintain. However I find that it is quite difficult to keep in balance. And I also find that even if I start with a very low salt level my system seems to quickly exceed the salt and all I get is a flashing green light. I assume this is supposed to be a better system, but my son who did pool maintenance for a living struggles to keep the system in balance.

Well I'm now exasperated - waiting to hear when the 5th visit will be scheduled to fix my leaking tub over here in the UK after reporting the problem several months ago and waiting several weeks between each failed visit. The tub is great when functioning but the dealership is clearly over capacity for technicians and is failing to diagnose and fix the problem. %th or 6th time lucky..........

The temperature on this spa is impossible to regulate. It is set at 99 degrees, but the temperature has gone down to 94 and up to 107. The chlorine smell is so strong. I have a salt system, but am having to add all the same chemicals that I used with a chlorine system. I wish I had never bought this.

I am sorry to hear about your spa experience. The heater will adjust once it is out of range from the set temperature, beyond two degrees. That means if the temperature changes beyond two-degree, the heater will come on. If the heater increases more than two degrees, that is something to report. I have had an Envoy since Oct.'19. I enjoy the spa every day; however, I am very disappointed with the dealer service. The panels on 3 sides of the spa have sprung open at the corners. I called the dealer three or four times as well as went to the store in person to complain before someone came out to look at the spa. That was over a month ago and I have not had any resolution to my problem. I would expect the spa is less efficient in its present state and probably increasing my electric bill. I am not happy.

We love our new envoy. It’s easy to get in and out of and the controls are logically placed and easy to understand. The Envoy is very versatile so it’s easy to change jet pressure where needed. The lights and water feature add some Fun to it that is especially popular with our grandkids so it really has something for everyone.

In general the Envoy spa is very nice and have nice features. Easy access to the filters are much better than my prior spa. Has the entertainment system, but linking to the speakers has been a challenge other than from a cell phone. Functions on my wireless control are not the same as though on the model the local salesman is show ing me now. Not sure if they changed since I purchased this unit almost two years ago or if there is a software update required. Trying to find someone to chat live at Hot Springs or Coleman is most frustrating.

We were looking for a hot tub with 2 loungers and Hot Spring had just what we were looking for. It’s so comfortable and the massage jets are so relaxing. My wife takes care of the water and she says it’s so easy to care for. Great hot tub

I was extremely pleased with the sales person Angela Watson. She was very knowledgeable and helpful in making a hot tub selection.
I was impressed by the fact that everything was included, the cover, the steps, the chemicals, salt, and you really didn't need to have anything to purchase separately.

Well Made and Attractive Spa

This is our second spa and first Hot Spring spa. The quality of the construction is evident and it looks great out on our patio. The seats are comfortable, more so if you're on the taller side. Shorter people will need a booster seat. The wireless controls are easy to understand, but it took us a while to figure out which controls diverted more or less water to the various jets in the tub. It wasn't as intuitive as I guess I expected. We also have the salt system and like that fact that we no longer smell like chlorine all the time.
Overall, we're happy with the spa.

Our Hotspring spa makes every day feel a decadent treat! We love the different seats with all of the jet variations- you have to a "seat circuit" at least once or twice every time you go in!

We have had nothing but issues with our spa since we purchased... multiple controller issues, jet issues, light issues, control boards need replaced.
