We have had our spa for about 5 months now and use it almost every day. It is still exciting for us to get in and relax and talk about our day. It was expensive but have had great service from our dealer with a few issues that came up.

This is my second Hot Springs Spa. The first one lasted more than 12 years and might have been able to last longer except I wanted a new one. My mom has gone through 3 Spas in the time I've had mine so I feel that these spas hold up very good compared to others! Nothing is as relaxing as sitting in the very therapeutic and gentle on your skin Hot Springs Spa! Since a car accident in 2000 and another in 2004, I could not survive without my Envoy Spa! Best purchase I have made in a long while!

We purchased the Envoy spa based on my previously ownership with a Watkins spa for over a decade and was very happy with their product. From early on we had many issues with the remote as others have described in numerous forums. The remote issue was dealt with by our local dealer under the first year of the warranty where we didn't have to pay for service calls. These issues continued right into year two where we were now getting charged for each visit. We were told that there were no widespread complaints nor recalls with this unit and perhaps we weren't doing the monthly output protocol (which we were). Usually the remote would bomb out and couldn't find spa or the screen just went black or would die when the temp was either lowered or raised. We had the remote replaced twice and this last summer as our third remote also had multiple issues finally our dealer told us that there was in fact a recall on the remote. They replaced it and still the same issues persisted. They tried new firmware to no avail and finally realized the main IC board was at fault. They now had to order this part and replace the entire board as well (not trivial). The tech replaced the remote, the board and all the firmware and we thought our troubles were over. WRONG. After only being used 3 times since the overhaul the new remote with the new board and new firmware is now once again reading 'cannot find spa'. We have yet another tech call scheduled for this week. If the dealer could just take a crane and remove this spa I would forever be grateful. It has been nothing but a headache and I have ZERO confidence this won't continue for the life of this spa. I regret ever purchasing this tub and would love to get a full refund and have this removed. Btw, in ski country when we used to rent other people's houses we'd very often use the spa on premises that were 10-20 yrs. old w/o a single issue. That we have gone through all these issues and it's only year 2 I have little faith in Watkins. Oh, and we also had the sticking door issue that others mention where the sliding door to the filter compartment fails to drop once the jets are engaged which then causes the tub to shut down.
In summary, I used to be a very happy advocate for their products yet with this new Envoy spa I wonder if this is spa is an outlier and we got a lemon or if this new removable remote technology is not proven. With the entire electronics being swapped out and the problems persisting I can't help but think this is not a lemon issue.

Love this Spa! Use it everyday for last 2 months. Some days twice! The design allows the jets in each seat to message a different area. The MotoX is exceptional! Installer was timely and did great work.

I have never been happier!, I have always had hot tubs and the Envoy NXT is in another galaxy compared to my previous hot tubs. It is by far the best built, best looking and true hydro therapy.

Enjoying, but some minor challenges

My wife and I took delivery of the Envoy, with the Salt System, in late July. The start-up as described by the dealer was not as the manuals outlined, and we quickly lost water quality. After following the manuals we corrected the matter and have been able to keep the water in good shape. The removable controls does have a problem now and then, but then it mysteriously corrects itself. We really enjoy the spa, but I am concerned about the electrical malfunction from time to time of the controls.

Our new HotSpring Spa fits right in at our home. Love it!
We owned a Grandee model HotSpring spa in Southern California. We enjoyed it for many years with no problem; after several years we did have a problem with the finish developing small cracks and the company replaced the entire spa at no charge under warranty; the spa lasted many more years with no problem and was a significant feature of value when we sold our house. We were so impressed with the company standing behind their product that it was an easy choice when we retired and moved to Maui. We knew we wanted the best spa available and to us that meant HotSpring. We love our new Envoy spa, very comfortable and relaxing, and they've added some great new design enhancements since we owned before, such as the water feature, cool lights, wireless controller, and more.

7 Month Old 2016 Envoy Update, Some Concerns

Since I mentioned something about cost in my last posting, it was denied and they couldn't send me what I originally wrote, so I'm having to start over. 4 items of concern, the last a huge concern if it happens again. * Within a few days, GFI breaker kept tripped, left for trip, came home to green water. Replaced under warranty, no more issues. * Within first 30 days, brown stains all around ozonator circular grate, replaced ozonator and grate under warranty, no more issues so far. BTW, water checked every 3 to 5 days, no presence of iron or imbalanced water. * At 4 month mark, door to filters, the floats came out and the door seemed to jam causing the tub to suck in too little water. Replaced under warranty, works great now. * At 6.5 month mark, remote failed, entire controller replaced. I checked on the replacement controller (don't deny my posting for this) and it appears to be over a grand to replace. My huge concern is if this thing continues to fail annually, I can't afford to keep this thing.
If, however, no more issues arise in the next 3 to 5 years, I'm a Hot Springs customer for life as everything else is absolutely wonderful. So much better than our previous Chinese made hot tub that was a leaky disaster, full of hornets, and also purchased brand new.

We had a Coleman brand hot tub for 25 years. It finally died and the wife and I started looking at new spas locally. We went with Hot Springs because they had a local office, a solid reputation and their own service department. The install was a challenge (had to contract a crane service to get it over the house plus all new wiring to the unit) but it was worth the hurdles and enjoy the new spa almost every day. It has more options than we really need, but the ease of use / maintenance over the old Coleman is amazing! Hoping this spa lasts as long as my first one did!

The jets have deep power, to sooth and relax our tired and aching muscles. Has a big foot print so must have plenty of room for this spa. Lots of spots each with a different purpose. So far So GOOD!

My first spa, and I'm really enjoying it! It's easy to maintain. Deliver and setup went smoothly. I'm just waiting for the update on the remote to have some games, or be able to mirror my smartphone to the remote.

I would give 5 stars on water care But, I had to drain my tub after a month of use. we could not keep the chlorine levels stable. After 2 weeks of shocking the water it was recommend by the service tech from Georgia Spa to drain and start over. We've had no issues since. We use our hot tub 2x a day. Love it!

This is a great spa. Plenty of space and deep so a taller person feels covered. This is my second HotSpring spa in about 25 years and you can tell they worked on making it even better. The only non-star filled thing I could say is that ACE is not just "turn key" and you need to keep an eye on it until everything is in balance and ACE is producing chlorine.
