We thought about going with a less expensive brand, but in the end we decided we wanted a spa that would last 15-20 years. After reading reviews from owners of Hot Springs spas and how long they last, we decided it was our only choice. We are very pleased with the quality and the energy efficiency. I use my envoy every day.

When we sold our home we sold the Hotsprings spa with it. It was a
sad day leaving my spa behind. It had always brought me such relaxation and peace of mind. I would escape the stresses of the day and let them melt away in the bubbles as the jets massaged my tense muscles and joints. Bye bye my dear friend. Then a new Hotsprings entered my life 3 years later.It was a newer model and had even more exciting features. Yes you can fall in love a second time. I love my new spa as much if not more than my first one. Hotsprings spas are a wonderful luxury that I enjoy so much. They are worth the money! Phyllis

This is our 4th Hot Springs hot tub and it is the best one we have owned. It is larger than the previous 3. It is very energy efficient and comfortable. If you get one you will love it. We have the ACE system on this one and maintenance is next to nothing. In 5 minutes per month I can take care of my spa with crystal clear water every day.

We had another brand of hot tub before purchasing the Envoy. We couldn't believe what a difference there is. We love this tub and spend so much more time using it. We have the ACE Salt Water System which makes maintaining the tub a lot easier; the water is alway clear, plus it feels great on your skin!

Overall the Hot Springs ENVOY is much better than we expected. It's not just a spa, it's a big part of our lifestyle. Reliable, super-comfortable and large enough for 4-5 people. And the stargazing is awesome! The only downside here in WI is that with high electric and gas utility rates the tub costs us more than we expected; $30-$45/month, depending on weather. Nevertheless, it's the best thing we have added to our home in ten years!

Has everything you could want in a spa....and then some.

The only small complant is the manual is not user friendly.
I'm only interested in the spa I purchased, not all the other ones
that is included in it. I have to look closely as to what pretains to my spa.
The service man is great and very prompt.

We researched the purchase of a spa, and the justification for it, over several months. We visited numerous brands of spa showrooms and researched each brand for quality, features, warranty and user reviews. Ultimately we purchased a Hot Springs spa because of all of those factors. The Envoy suited our needs best and has worked perfectly. Since the purchase, we have found that customer support from the Hot Springs store has been top notch. They respond to our questions quickly and knowledgably. This is our very first spa and it has been one of the best decisions that we have ever made. Thanks Hot Springs!

Our Envoy is the third spa we have owned over 30 years. It is by far the most superior, comfortable, relaxing and easiest spa to use and maintain. The Silk Balance water maintenance product is wonderful. We spend many evening hours enjoying our spa.

Years ago we initially purchased a used spa just to test out how much we would actually use it. We used it all the time for 2 years and then decided it was time to upgrade to a new spa. We couldn't be happier with our Envoy from Hot Springs. The jets are amazing, and my favorite seat is the lumbar massage seat! My kids love the lights and water feature, but the therapeutic benefits are awesome! The customer service has also been great. Initially we had a bum control panel, but they came and fixed it right away at no charge. We have owned the spa for almost a year now and it is easy to care for and requires minimal maintenance to keep it up.

Just What I Expected

We have had our Spa for about a year now and it has met all our expectations. While there is some maintenance and ongoing cost, it is about what we anticipated and the relaxation from almost daily use is worth it. One small service issue was handled well and the part (not the labor) was covered by warranty. Overall, we feel this was a good investment which we continue to enjoy.

Hot Spring Spa's of Lebanon, TN. did a magnificent installation of our new Envoy in a very tight location on our deck. This is our first hot tub and we think its one of the absolute best models. My wife and I most heartily recommend Dennis and the entire staff...to the extent I would adopt them all into the family. Owned Two HotSpring Spas during 14 Years

We've had the Envoy spa for 7 years in our current house and sold our previous house after enjoying a Prodigy model for 7 years. This review is basically for both spas and quality of both. The only repairs have been under warranty. On the Envoy the remote control panel was replaced after 2 years. On the Prodigy the Ozone generator was replaced after 4 years. The integrity of the spa's interior and exterior is excellent even in the extreme Arizona heat. The water quality is easy to control and maintain. I replaced the filters on the Prodigy after 5 years but still have the original filters on the Envoy after 7 years. I use the spa daily and often both in the morning and evening. I figure the spa cost about $30 a month in the winter but less in the summer since the heat is off. In the summer I turn off the heat and open the spa cover at night to cool the spa down - - makes for a nice "cool" tub during the Arizona summers. Also I have time of day electric rates and the spa has an adjustment to turn off the heater and circulation pump for 8 hours during the prime electric rates.
I certainly recommend this spa as evidenced by my two purchases and 14 years of satisfaction.

Made an Unbelievable Difference In How I feel!

Owned it for 6 years now.
I start the day in the tub very early regardless of temperature outside . I don't need jets at this time I simply enjoy the warm soak. Evenings I sometimes need the jets for massaging sore feet, elbows, and various achey areas. I use it almost twice daily every day.
The headrests were first to dissolve, then the chrome surface coverings on the valves slipped off. Two remote button pads have had to be replaced (they said the second one was improved, but I see no difference). I use the ceramic filters and am just now on my second set. I wish there were better UV protectors in the plastic surfaces. There is a lot of fading of the surround, the top and the outside control center. Be wary of service calls if you live a distance from the retailer. My charges have been 150.00 just for the call. I did replace a heat sensor myself. The store sent the part and with the phone, a tech talked me through the replacement process. That was a really positive experience! Great Customer Service!

I have had the hot tub for almost 2 years now and it is fantastic, especially in the winter. A few minor issues: 1) There appears to be a manufacturing issues with the Ozinator tubing behind the panel. It has gotten kinked on it's own and I had to replace the directional filter along the tubing as well. The labor cost was more than the replacement piece and I wasn't happy with that cost (not covered by warranty). 2) The jets for the wrists have stopped spinning, but do blow water through.

problems with Ace salt system

The tub is wonderful when it is working properly: the water stays clear for months, and you can go for up to 6 months between water changes. But my husband and I have had a problem with the salt system. We've had the tub for less than 2 years and are already on our third cell. The first one was replaced under the one-year warranty after about 8 months, and the repairman did not diagnose the problem; he just replaced the cell under warranty so we weren't terribly concerned about it. However, our second cell stopped making sufficient chlorine when it was only about 10 months old, and the cost to replace it was a shocker: about $900 just for the part!!! Apparently the one-year warranty on the Ace salt system only covers you from the time you buy the spa, i.e. our second cell was not guaranteed to last even a year. We cleaned our cell every three months as instructed and kept all chemicals in balance, but the second failed cell (which we kept) appears to be clogged with mineral deposits of some sort. We can't afford to keep replacing our cell every 8-10 months, so we are very unhappy about the reliability issue. We plan to clean our cell monthly, even though the manufacturer says it only needs to be cleaned every 3 months, with the hope that this will prolong its life. It seems we are at the manufacturer's mercy because there are no alternative suppliers for the part.
