Love the envoy - lots of options for jets, easy to operate, simple to maintain, very comfortable. Wish we'd gotten it long ago!

We have had our HotSprings tub about 6 yrs. We've enjoyed it with friends and family, and our son particularly had fun during high school. We enjoyed having his band friends over. They would fill the tub and have water splashing over the sides in waves! It was great hearing all of the laughter and talk. We miss that, but now enjoy some quieter times together!

We are happy to hear that your Hot Spring spa has provided you with a place to make great memories. We noticed that the product rating you gave your Envoy is only a 1. Please don't hesitate to contact our customer service team at 800-999-4688 X 8432. Thank you for your business. Happy Hot Tubbing!
We just LOVE our Hotsprings Spa! All the fun lights and jets make it the perfect relaxation experience! Ours sits outside by the lake where we enjoy beautiful sunsets and the spa's soothing waters. And our local dealer, Spas, Pools, and Patio in Sebring, FL, is GREAT! Always so nice, helpful, and quick to respond!
It is one thing to be happy with a spa you just bought and have limited experience with, but another thing altogether to be happy with your spa for going on 8 years and counting. Although my spa has had a few problems, the dealer has been very responsive and the extensive warranty meant the problems were resolved to my complete satisfaction. My spa is located in South Florida and the sun has taken a toll on the pearl finish (cosmetic only) and the grey siding is somewhat faded. We are on our 2nd cover, the first lasted over 6 years. The dealer gave me a discount on the new cover and installed it for free. Did I mention that the dealer is good? The dealer is very important, buy from a dealer you trust. The Envoy has been very easy to maintain. This spa still works great and gets almost daily use. My power company did an energy audit on the house and said this spa is among the most energy efficient that they have measured. I highly recommend Hot Spring Spas and would buy mine again in a heart beat. At the rate it is going, it seems to be a 20 year plus spa.

New Envoy owner - day 1
PostedAugust 27, 2012
Our new Envoy was delivered today! This has been a culmination of detailed planning and a lot of research and work. I live in rural East Texas and had lots of considerations to ensure my satisfaction, namely chickens, weather, and teenagers! Fortunately, the closest Hot Tub distributor (60 miles away) happens to be the manufacturer I most wished to purchase from, Hot Springs Spas. East Texas Spas, and Waterman Electric (Tyler, TX) , both arrived today and coordinated the installation, and fulfillment of all my previous planning. Recommended!

Hot Springs Envoy Spa-- Relax and enjoy.....
PostedJuly 24, 2012
This is my first hot tub, so I have a lot of learning to do. I have had the product two weeks now and enjoy it a lot. It’s a quality product, that’s for sure, however, after being in it for a while, I would like to see a change of where the lounge is in the tub, related to it being parallel to the master controls. The problem is that the steps that one would use in front of the spa look good there, because it’s the front of the spa and the steps hide the electrical conduit, but when getting out of spa, I don’t like the hump in the lounge when getting in or out. Not comfortable.. Other people have said the same. So I moved the steps to the side of spa. I also would have liked the manufacture to provide me with a powder coated plate to cover the electrical round conduit coming up from the cement to the spa. Because I don’t use the steps in the front, you can see electrical conduit. Not a biggie, but a personal appearance thing to me. I also notice that when you use the color wheel, the red does not stay on as long as the other colors. Color needs to stay red longer when cycling. These are not huge problems at all. A few things I notice… One more problem that I almost forgot is that, I would like to see cup holders. Not nearly enough places to hold your drinks… Thank you…

2012 Envoy not as good as 2009 Ver.
PostedJuly 16, 2012
Bought my 2nd Envoy and the new one is not near as nice as my older one. The knobs are just stupid and I have to fish them out of the filter box all the time becuase you bump them they are coming off. Very effecient and the jets are the best but the top cover is flimsey compared to my last one too. For some reason I contuinually chase water quality much harder than my last Envoy. The new control panel on top is a good idea but the the programming logic does not suit me. 8 buttons to control, lights, jets and pump?!??!! Have you guys ever seen an ipod? Still better than any other spa I've tried but I wish I had my 09 back.

It's a okay spa not great
PostedJuly 9, 2012
We have this spa for a year now and I am noticing some problems. The expresso cabinet is all faded. It does state in the manual that it will fade like real wood, I say it shouldn't it is plastic and my friends Sundance which is older still looks like new. Use better material. The other issue is bugs, oh my that screen in the front were the electric goes in lets everything in there. The holes are big and the electric wire is sealed. I was told you can't seal it because the motors need fresh air. In this day and age there has to be a better way. If you try to run the jets with water going everywere the pressure drops, so it seems the spa is only really a 2-3 person spa.

Not Happy- Too Many Problems with Tub
PostedJune 25, 2012
Hot Tub bought in June 2011 new, whole tub replaced in August 2011 due to multiple issues. New tub had cell replaced in Jan 2012 and again reporting bad in June 2012. New tub has had light issues as well and ACE System has never maintained sanitizer level; chemical eater from the wallet. Regret buying this tub. Working with manufacture and dealer to obtain refund.

Double Lounger!
PostedJune 2, 2012
Why did we wait so long to invest in ourselves? We feel we live at a resort now and seem to overlook needed amenities while searching for a vacation retreat...simply because no other hot tub can compare!
We ordered the diamond salt natural method to clorinate the water. This has been tough to regulate the last two water changes.

Great Spa - Confusing instructions.
PostedMay 25, 2012
We bought the Envoy with the ACE saltwater system. The Moto Motion was a big seller for us along with size and overall comfort.
The ACE saltwater care system has turned out to be great but it has a steep learning curve, especially for first time spa owners. Most of this is due to the confusing literature that comes with the spa. It is hard to differentiate what instructions are for what water care system. Additionally we could never get agreement between the supplied salinity test strips and the internal salt test system. Once you get the water care down it works quite well, especially if you live in a low hardness water area.
Understanding which valves affect which pumps and jets is also confusing but with the help of a homemade quicklook cheat sheet we have worked aroound this.
We do love our spa!

Excellent Product and Company
PostedMay 9, 2012
Two years ago we purchased an Envoy, which we loved. Unfortunately a leak developed which we reported in January. Yesterday a NEW replacement spa was delivered and installed, which was completely unexpected. We appreciate it so much and most especially appreciate the service and support offered by Hot Spring. It is clear they stand behind their products, and we thank you.

Envoy cost/value
PostedMay 8, 2012
Shopped other spas before making this purchase. Family really enjoys HS Envoy now for 5 years +. Just hope its not constant the service weve needed in year 5. Lost interior control panel, electrical control panel, number 2 pump, 2 diverter valves, had to replace cover core, and the pearl finish showing surface cracks. We really, really take care of our spa (dealer serviced) and I would consider usage medium. I know how much we enjoy this product when its right, but the overall cost of spa, 220 line and box, ground prep, and upkeep... hmmm...in yr 6 now, Im afraid to use number 1 pump for fear this is now out of warranty. Dont get me wrong, I wouldnt own another brand of spa, it really is special when right!

Best Purchase We Ever Made
PostedApril 30, 2012
We were first introducted to Hot Springs Spas at a rental house at the beach. We knew then we had to have one. The quality and workmanship of this spa is unbeatable. Ours is 8 years old and looks brand new. Other than regular maintenance items it has been trouble free. The service we get from our dealer is great.

Our Hot Springs Envoy
PostedApril 30, 2012
My wife and I have had our Envoy for almost two years. We enjoy it every chance we get - time permitting. I am very satisfied with the quality and reliability of the Envoy. We had a couple of issues that required visits by the local dealer. Repairs were made in a timely and friendly manner and were covered by the warranty - no questions asked. All in all a great investment. Hot Springs and our local dealer Inside Out Recreation have been a pleasant surprise and have done themselves proud!
Best regards to all

Spa at delivery and filled
I have sat in many brands and owned other Hot Spring models and our 2009 Envoy is the best. The captain chair, lounge, and other seats are awesome. The lighting and fountain are very relaxing to watch. Our kids love to change the lighting colors to match different seasons or holidays. The everfresh system is the easist to maintain and the fresh ozone smell is wonderful. We use our spa several times a week as my wife has chronic back pain and I have restless leg syndrom. Nothing works to ease pain and relax for a great nights rest. I am sure all other Hot Springs rule but the Envoy gets my vote as the best spa ever!!!!

The daily exercise before the daily dip.
When the rating says comfort, I say compared to what? I had a Hot Springs hot tub for 18 years and it finally gave it up and I bought a new one. I liked the seating and layout of the old tub better but I am learning to live with the new one. On the subject of energy efficiency, how in the world can a layman figure energy efficiency. I live in the mountains, use the spa daily and have no idea how energy efficient the unit is or as I said above compared to what. I will say that I would not look at any other brand because the overall quality of this product has no equal.
