After over 4 years, I am still as much in love with my Envoy as I was the day it was delivered! It holds it's temperature even during our icy cold winters in the single digits...and YES, we use it in the winter too! It is positioned on the patio of our mountain home, under the stars and is the highlight of every visitor who comes to our ranch. What a wonderful piece of equipment. We have owned another top Brand (Jacuzzi) years ago, but hands down, the Envoy has exceeded our expectations in every way: looks, ease of maintenance, temperature, and FUN factor!

We purchased the Envoy because it provides enough room for us to enjoy with our grandchildren or when we are alone, we take turns at different seating.The Adirondak lounger sold me on this model along with the Ace system and the ease of maintenance.Its a little intimidating at first but once we got the hang of the maintenance,its a breeze.The moto jets are absolutely the best thing I have seen in any spa.Its so comforting and theraputic and I spend a lot of time with it. Its a costly venture to start with, but the rewards of it make it a great value.

I would have given the comfort score a 5 if they had only put a soft rubber head rest on the captain's chair. It REALLY needs one. 2 other spots have one, but not the most therapeutic seat in the spa. The water-care score is because this thing just eats chlorine. We have it set at 101 degrees. It has an ozonator. But 1-2 days after adding chlorine, it's gone. Even with NO use. Dealer says to set the temp below 98 and turn it up to 101 degrees 20 minutes before use and the chlorine will last longer. But part of the sales pitch was that the OZONATOR would make the chlorine last LONGER. My last spa (Beachcomber) did NOT have an ozonator and it used half the chlorine that this one does. On a positive note, the 5 filter system is GREAT!!! Really keeps the water clear and clean. Best purchase we ever made was the pivoting hand-rail we had them add. Makes entry and exit MUCH safer!!! All things considered, this is a much more enjoyable spa than our old one. We are generally quite pleased. HOPEFULLY, we will still feel this way 8-10 years from now.
Purchased as a replacement for an older Spa-Warehouse spa. Saw a huge drop in our electric bill the first month. It is also easier to maintain since we installed the Salt System water care unit, just check the water once a week to verify I don't have to do anything. Just wish I could have all the jets running at the same time with 4 or more people in it

After owning a hot tub for 21 years it finally broke down. When we decided to replace it we looked at a number of different spas but kept coming back to Hot Springs Spa. We saw the Envoy in the store and liked its shape and amenities and the power of the jets. We had it delivered and installed about a month ago and we can't stay out of it. Very therapeutic, easy to operate. So far no trouble with anything including adjusting the water quality. Would not hesitate to recommend the Envoy. It easily stays right on temperature. Just received my utility bill for the month and estimate it cost about $12-$15 this month to operate.

Great Spa - ACE System is a Challenge

The spa itself is great in terms of jets, energy efficiency and comfort. I've also found customer service to be responsive to our concerns.
The problem has been with the ACE salt system. We just had our third cell replacement in 13 months of ownership. We've been vigilant about cleaning filters and cells, monitoring chemicals etc. The frustration is the frequency with which the ACE system fails to work as advertised.
I know the technology is relatively new and yes Hot Springs has been responsive but I get the feeling this system might not have been ready for use. From various explanations I've been given, the system is extremely sensitive to variations in salt levels as well as phosphates (something I didn't learn about until a year after purchasing).
Do your homework when deciding between the ozone and ACE systems. You'll love the tub and hopefully the reliability of the ACE system will improve.

As with many new technologies, we have learned a lot from the real world experience we have gained since having the product on the market – in spite of the years of testing that went into the system before the launch. Unfortunately, it sounds like you may have had to work with us through some of this learning, and we are sorry to hear that. We hope that your experience has been that when the ACE system is working, it makes water care simple and easy, and also provides longer lasting, luxurious feeling water.
As for the cell, it is a wearable part that needs to be replaced on occasion –it should not need to be replaced 3 times in 13 months. The life of a cell will depend on a number of things, including how often you use your spa and more specifically your USE Level. The USE Level tells the ACE system how long your cell should run each day. The longer it runs each day, the quicker it needs replacement. If you keep your cell clean, and keep your hardness below 50 ppm, on a USE level of 3 the cell should last somewhere in the range of 3 years. If the system is at a Use Level of 5, then the cell is running constantly and this could lead to a much shorter life (18 months - 2 years).
There are things that you can do to get the maximum life out of your cell. - Keep your water balanced and your hardness at the recommended level of 50 ppm. - Keep the salt level at 1750 ppm; at this level the system can create a generous amount of chlorine, without having to run as often. Please keep these suggestions in mind, in order to get the maximum value from your ACE system going forward. - Set the use level to a low setting (2 or 3) for normal everyday use, and then hit the boost function on occasion when you need to increase the chlorine level. Because of the way the ACE system cleans the water, you really need only a small amount of measurable chlorine – so aim for 1-3 ppm on your test strip. You can supplement the system granular chlorine if you’ve had a lot of people in the spa and need a quick boost of chlorine, rather than turning up the USE Level.

My wife and I debated purchasing a hot tub for approximately a year. We were hesitant on purchasing such a big ticket item without previous ownership experience. Like many, we loved the idea of having a premium tub comparable to those we have experienced at resorts. In addition, we thought it would be a great companion to our salt water pool. Wow, our assumptions don't compare to how much my wife and I love our Envoy! This has truly been a life changing purchase for us; each time we soak in our tub it is as if we are on vacation at a luxurious resort. From the wonderful Moto-Massage DX to the BellaFontana water feature, the Envoy provides an amazing experience. Ultimately, our decision to purchase this tub was based on my research of Hot Spring's quality, reliability, and features.

I can't believe how wonderful I feel after getting out of my new hot tub. Relaxing is such a priority in my life and the hot tub is the ticket to total bliss.My wife and I love the experience and cant wait to get in every evening.I don't think I want to skip a single day of indulging in my new hot tub.
When we purchased our tub we were a little unsure as to how much use and enjoyment we would get from our Spa. Well it is of no concern now. We have used the Envoy Spa at least 4-5 times per week. What a great purchase. Having this Spa has helped relieve my muscle spasms in my back and really helps relax both me and my wife. Our grandkids think it is great and always want to go in it. This certainly has been a great purchase for us.

We use it every night that we are home. I get jealous when I am not at home and my wife gets in it without me. I recommend it for anyone that wants a few moments of true relaxation when they get home.
We owned a Hot Spring tub for 19 years and it would still be running if a winter storm would not have killed the electricity and froze the tub. we purchased a new Prodigy in 2012 and just love it good location for the jet and plenty of jet power. we have sat in other tubs but they did not have the power I personally would have a hard time buying any other tub.
I researched hot tubs extensively and spoke with several owners of other brands. I selected the Hot Springs hot tub because of it's warrenty and reputation of the local distributor. Several local hot tub suppliers have recently gone out of business and it's comforting to buy a superior hot tub and be assurred of great service if I ever need it
The Envoy madel spa has great seating and jet options. The two loungers are both very comfotable and you don't have the feeling that you are floating up with the jets on. I am impressed with the overall construction of HotSpring spas. The jet pumps are strong and the constant filtration motor is quiet and keeps the spa water clean. The WOW factor of this spa is the lighting and the fountain. I love the way the underwater color can be set differently than the top lights. The changing color wheel effect is pretty cool. The fountain adds a soothing visual to complete the overall relaxation factor of the spa!!!
This is the first spa I have owned. Its a money pit. I don't know if it is just this brand .

We purchased this spa 3 years ago. It is very comfortable and relaxing, when it works. We purchased it with the ace salt water system. We have had constant problems with this spa and know our repair person very well. We have had to replace 3 cells. They have done three field modifications to the system and now our circulation pump has failed. Hotsprings has replaced the parts under warranty but the constant hassle is frustrating. This is our third hotsprings spa and it is the only one we have had these types of problems with. Like I said when it works it is great unfortunately we have had too many failures for me to recommend this product

The kids moved out; the pool went down and the Hot Tub went in. My wife & I enjoy our time together; with morning coffee watching the sun rise or relaxing after work counting the stars. We should of done this years ago.
This is my first hot tub. I'd never even been in anything close to the Hot Springs Envoy. The therapeutic value is overwhelming and was prescribed by my chiropractor. I recommend it to all my friends and enemies alike.
