hot springs is truly the best. Best jet pressure. Best jets. Easiest water care possible. And the best quality. Not the cheapest. But if you can possibly spend a little more. It will make your whole experience of owning a spa, so much better

Relaxation! I love my Envoy, nothing beats ending or starting a day with a soak in this hot tub. The lighting, jets, sound system, and wireless control pad are fantastic! Highly recommend this tub!

Great longterm investment

We have friends who had an Envoy in New Hampshire, and we loved using it so much every time we visited them that we bought one in Houston Texas. I know, you are thinking "a hot tub in Houston?"! But the Envoy proved to be an outstanding purchase regardless of geography. Great heated in winter, and great when we didn't heat it in the summer. And It accommodated my husband's larger frame, while hitting every muscle I wanted on my smaller frame.
Initially, the price was the biggest problem, but continuous, problem-free use of the spa over the past 5 years has proven the Envoy's value. In fact, we love our Envoy so much we are bringing it with us when we move back to New England in a few months!

Wonderful review! That's going to be some move. Happy to hear that you are going to take your hot tub with you. New England winters, in a steaming, relaxing hot tub is going to be amazing. A great deal of thought and design go into all of our tubs. Being able to accommodate many different body types at the same time is important, as well as jet placement and configuration.

we bought our "Highlife" in December 1991....23.5 years ago!! And, I still sit in it EVERY NIGHT. Yes, some things have worn out over the years and had to be replaced. The jets don't work like they used to but for heavens sake the spa is over 23 years old. I am positive that a spa from any other manufacturer would have failed years and years ago. We are beyond satisfied. If you are looking for a spa do NOT get any brand other than a Hot Springs!.

We love this spa. It's definitely worth spending the extra money for a spa with the MOTO-MASSAGE. Everyone's favorite seat. But there's really no bad seat. After a year's worth of use, it still looks and works great.

owned a spa for 12 years I wish I would have purchased a hot springs spa the first time the spa I purchased was built in Canada not using the brand name I believe you can figure the brand out . the envoy spa is like no other this spa finds every pain in your body and total relaxing massage. what a spa second to none keep up the good work.

Great Tub but the Chlorine System is a Bust!

I love our tub except that after replacing the wand three times and the control once the "automatic" chlorine control system is worthless.. We have to test all the time and chlorinate by hand as the system they sold us (on top of the price of the tub) is totally useless. The dealer says it is the company and the company says they will not replace any more components and what they have reluctantly done to date has not solved the problem. I doubt anyone will ever get to read this review but watch your step on the "extras".

best dollar I ever spent would recommend to everyone whether they're experiencing problems with their back legs feet or just the comfort it's the best thing you can do for yourself love it would buy another one if needed using approximately 3 to 4 times a week for 45 minutes to an hour at a time and love it have several people over

We have had our hot tub for a little over a month and it is amazing. I can not express enough thanks to Kelly and Scott from Springfield Pool and Spa. They truly assisted us in making the best purchase for our needs. We use the Envoy a minimum of 5 nights a week. It has been so easy to maintain. The Envoy has assisted us with our tired muscles. We rarely take long trips just so we can use our hot tub. LOL Best purchase we could have made. Thank You.

My wife and I researched spa manufactures and models for 2-3 years before making our decision to purchase the Hot Spring's Envoy model. We use it constantly and enjoy its relaxing effects. It is a well constructed spa with user friendly controls. This model came with an ozonator and 5 filters which help to keep the water sparkling clear, maintenance is relatively simple and requires only a few minutes every few days. We utilize the Pristine Blue water treatment system and it seems to work really great.

We have had our hot tub for a week and we love it. My husband and I are both retired military and find that the Envoy allows us to relax our tired muscles. We are grateful to have spoken with Scott and Kelly at Springfield Pool and Spa who assisted us in the correct choice of our Spa. This is by far the best investment for us.

I purchased an Envoy hot tub five years ago and it has been nothing but trouble. I've had to replace the control panel, the heater (twice), the circulation pump, and the light seal. I also had to have the store pick up my tub to repair a crack in the shell next to the control panel. This repair took six months to complete because the manufacturer mailed the wrong epoxy. I sent letters to Watkins Manufacturing's Customer Service Department but they offered no help. They made some telephone calls to the store but to no avail. My last repair was for the light fixture which was leaking. To repair this the right way, the repairman was to remove the fixture by "making 12 cuts around the outer edge" and remove the unit. He was reluctant to do this so he used a sealant and put it back together. The leak stopped but now my light will not work and my pillow lights will not turn off. As you can see, this tub has been a joke. I thought the additional cost for a Hotspring tub was worth the extra money but I was wrong. I'm very disappointed in Hotsprings for not making this right.

WATCH OUT FOR ACE SALT SYSTEMS!! It will ruin your Spa!

Dear HotSpring USA, I am from the Netherlands and bought our Envoy at the dealer: HotSpring Midden Nederland (Maro Zwembaden). They told us the ACE system should be perfect as it will balance our chlorine/ph value. And that is correct. However, we found out after two years that the stainless steel rings around the jets are rusting. Our dealer told us that this can happen when the differences between too much chlorine and too less chlorine are too big. If there is too much chlorine the rings will rust. So in fact it was our own fault that the rings are rusting now. But we did some research and it turns out that salty water will get everything to be rusted!! And the ACE Salt System makes its own chlorine from salty water! And salt water is devastating for everything that is chrome or steel and you will get rust in your spa. In fact the ACE Salt System is the worst thing you can do to your spa because of the salt water (!!!) It seems that it is also very bad for the pumps. Maybe that is why we got short circuits in all of our lamps and pumps. It will shorten the life time of the Spa. We had a lot of problems with this HotSpring Envoy apparently due to ACE. And it is a pity as the Spa is really nice and relaxing, but we regret the ACE. Now we have rusty rings, our Spa is empty as we don't dare to use it any longer and nobody here in Europe wants to help us. Watkins doesn't respond and the dealer is blaming us. PLEASE RE-THINK WHEN YOU BUY HOTSPRING WITH THE ACE SALT SYSTEM!!

I will follow up to ensure that happened. Watkins does offer and endorse the use of the ACE system as the recommended levels of salt and resulting chlorine will not damage the spa as you described. I am sorry to read that you have had these challenges and will ensure that the dealer works with you to achieve and maintain the correct levels. If you prefer to change to another water care system, there are other choices approved by the manufacturer. As you have had these difficulties, I will make a one-time customer accommodation and provide new jet rings to you at no charge. We do appreciate your spa purchase and want you to be able to enjoy it again. Best regards,

Enjoy the Envoy

Long time hot tub user and new to Hot Springs. The Envoy seemed to provide the size and configuration we wanted with the quality and factory and dealer support that is always important, but not common.
After 2 months with the Envoy we have been pleased overall, with the only minor issues uncovered. The filtration system is so good, that filter maintenance becomes critically important and needs to be part of the regular inspection routine. The ingress / egress is a bit clumsy but that is more a function of our tub orientation and cover location, but we easily knock off jet control levers getting in/out. The biggest issue is with the controls and what jets are active and which are not. Having two people in the tub is usually a compromise as to which jets and seats are on. Not sure if this is user orientation or just a limitation on what can be powered, but sitting in a tub prior to purchase would be recommended. Those are relatively minor issues and a stretch to call them problems, more surprises.
So far I have been impressed with the support and I get the feeling Hot Springs cares about the user satisfaction. The quality of the product has been superior to anything we looked at and overall a very "relaxing" experience.

As the spa IS portable, you might consider changing how it sits so that you can turn it even a quarter turn to better suit your layout. Both the dealer and Watkins are here when you have questions.
