Let me first say that this is my second spa. My first spa was hight quality: salt water cleaning system, energy efficient, and great selection of jets. However, the HotSpring Highlife Envoy takes it all to the next level. First off, the amount of work involved in setting up the spa and maintaining it has dropped considerably. The software and hardware that "run" the spa are second to none. From the ceramic filters (instead of disposable) to the spa's ability to read the salt levels in the spa, this spa pushes innovation at every turn. And I'm not talking about bells and whistles (you can get those too); everything was designed with the spa user in mind. There is a jet in this tub for every possible part of your body that could ache - not only that, but you have the ability to specifically control the pressure of each jet or set of jets from low (relaxing) to full blast (deep tissue massage).
Also, HotSpring has patents on some really amazing things you will see in no other spa. The Moto Massage Jet goes up and down your both sides of your spine like a masseuse or massage chair would do, but in muscle melting water. Speaking of water, the ACE saltwater system (another patented unit) is a saltwater spa cleansing unit that is in a class of its own. It allows you to have sparkling clear water, while having no chlorine odor/irritation, and truly minimizing the amount of chemicals you need to add to your spa. The ACE system makes my previous spa's saltwater system look like a prototype that needed it's cell replaced far too often.
I purchased both of my spas for the same reason: I have chronic back and neck issues that need very regular therapy for me to maintain my life. Keeping that in mind, I understand that a spa needs to be maintained like anything else in life; but I didn't want the maintenance to outweigh the benefits. My last spa rode that fine line quite often. However, my HotSpring Highlife Envoy is so easy to maintain that I take care of it once a week (for a few minutes), and it takes care of me the rest of the time.
In conclusion, my Highlife Envoy was a bit more expensive than my last spa; however, this is one of those times where you not only get what you pay for, but you get above and beyond that. This spa was worth every dollar, and then some. It pays me back every time I use it.

The bar lights had to be repaired 4 times. They currently do not work. It is obviously a manufacturers defect but the dealer is unwilling to admit it

After talking about wanting a spa for years, we finally found the right one for us with the Envoy from HotSpring. Nothing feels better than sliding in to the comfortable seats and the relaxing back massage. The best thing about our spa is the variety you get from each of the 5 seating positions. Often I find myself moving from one seat to the other enjoying the foot massage, the palm massage and the overall relaxation of the heated salt water. Love Love Love it!

I'm an Envoy owner with degenerative disc disease in my spine. Since purchasing my Envoy, my arthritis and pain is almost gone! I don't regret getting it but wished I'd done it years ago!

My Envoy is the best! I Love it!!! I have had back surgeries and it is just what I need to keep me moving, relaxed and enjoying life! I love moving from one seat to the other to get every muscle area perfectly massaged and relaxed all the way down to my little toes :) Ahh I love my hot springs spa!!!
Added benefit is the easy lift for the top, I get it started and it does the rest. You don't have to completely remove the top to use the spa thank goodness! I would be at a loss if I had to lift and remove the cover by myself.

Overall a good purchase, the dealer has been very good about fixing the tub. The only negative has the last two years there have been pump and heater problems and it is only 5 years old!!!

The Envoy hot tub has been the best purchase every made. Daily soaks takes care of all our aches and soothes our sore muscles. Our family enjoys our time spend together in our hot tub. It is a way to share the day in a most relaxing way. Easy to take care of and very economical to run. Truly a premium product and a luxury to own!

bought this tub about 2 years ago. Enjoy it very much. Very rarely have problems but when I have had problems the dealer quickly services it and the warranty is top notch. Highly recommend it if you are considering a spa purchase.

This is our third Hot Springs spa and our favorite. We have the Ace salt water system and it is fairly easy to maintain. My husband and son love to relax and soak after biking , gym workouts and running.

Love my Envoy! has a seat for every sore muscle situation we have in the family. Love the bench seat with the up/down sweep of the moto-massage. we always play "round robin" so that each us in the family (of 3) can get a little of each seat during our time together in the tub. Owned the hot tub for over a year now and have yet had a single complaint about any part of it!

ACE system malfunction

we finally were at a point in our life where we could indulge a bit. my wife had always wanted a spa and we wanted to by local. HotSpring is what our local dealer recommended. I saw some poor reviews and was hesitant but was finally convinced. we went all out and got the ACE system as well as the audio system installed. the ACE system has been a nightmare. we have had 4 cells go bad. the last two were not covered under warranty. we finally had the ACE system removed and were told then we could operate the audio without the remote (i.e. control from the panel on the spa). well come to find out that is not the case. not only has it been the cost of additional cells that has been frustrating, but also the repeated service calls necessary to diagnose the multiple problems. the spa itself is average (though I must admit I don't have a lot of experience with spas). the jets do not hit the areas they are supposed to (i.e. wrist jets, etc.) but that just may be my particular body type. the jets are strong but I was disappointed by the limited number of jet combinations that could be attained (not all jets can be on at the same time). I will not buy another HotSpring spa and maybe never buy another spa again because of the frustration I have experienced with this one.
