Best Idea We Ever Had

We love sitting in our hot tub, we use it year round, day and night. In the daytime it is nice to listen to the birds sing and at night, the sky can be beautiful. We had wanted to get one for several years, and finally made the purchase. We have had our hot tub for a year now, and we love it as much as the first day. It is a purchase that we use almost every day. Our energy costs did not change that much, which was also a relief. We have our tub about 3 steps from our patio door, so it is quick to get in and out of on a cold night. Keeping the tub clean has not been a problem, we clean the filters once a wk and add the chemicals on a routine basis. If we have questions, we go to our store and ask, they are always helpful.

Great hot tub:
- Salt system is perfect for those who have sensitive skins. Water is always clean as long as you use the chemicals once a week or so.
- I purchased the optional lighting system and I just love it! Extremely calming, romantic and just beautiful at night. Wonderful experience.
Bottom line, get one!!

First let me state that we love the tub. We have had it for about 15 months now. We have had the local service person out to fix a ongoing leak problem in the same area, today makes 5 times in the last 8 or 9 months. It gets fixed works fine for a day or two then starts leaking again. Really getting tired of putting water in the tub every other day

Stone front on spa

The stone front design is not well made. Instead of a door to the controls, it requires that you unscrew the face. Now after a couple of years, the stone facing on that "door" has warped.

We have had our spa for over a year now and are very pleased with the quality and the ease of care. It has never given us any trouble. I have been very surprised how easy and quickly it is maintained. Definitely would recommend the Hot Springs Vista spa!

The SPA is very comfortable and easy to use. The salt water care system is difficult to regulate. It doesn't test for chlorination and tends to over chlorinate significiantly when set on normal use settings. I have set the SPA size to 2 from 6 and the usage to 2 from 5 and set it on the summer offset and the chlorination is good. We use the SPA about once a week and I boost it after each use to get the chlorine up to the correct level. The company has a great warranty that they stand by. We like the SPA very much.

Being an owner of this spa for the last three years, I continue to struggle maintaining the correct balance of chemicals. I owned a Jaquzzi tub over ten years without a problem maintaining the proper balance. I do bring my water sample to the dealer a regular basis to ensure that I am using and buying the proper chemicals.

We absolutely love our Spa! Would never go back to life without one. Use it often, and the grandkids love to turn it down and use is as their own private pool.

I love my Vista spa! Hot Springs Spas are the best on the market, you can not find a better spa. Everything about this spa is easy. My friends and parents said it was a waist of money, but years later I still use it every other night. When I go in before bed, I sleep like a log.

I'm not sure how I lived without my hot tub. There is a jet for every part of your body. I have horses and trail ride often, what a wonderful end to the day when I just relax in it. Mine is on a screened-in patio and I just love it!

Overall A Good Choice, But With Some Reservations

The Vista spa advantages are a larger environment that makes a group feel comfortable, good looks, lots of jet options, dishwasher ready filters, nice lighting, a variety of seating arrangements, and easy to use controls.
The disadvantages are that it is pricey, still requires a lot of chemical maintenance--especially if your water quality isn't the best, jet control knobs that are confusing and too easily pop off and fall into the spa, and an oxidizer that isn't totally adequate and clogs at times.
I purchased the Vista new and had it installed in November, 2010. The master control panel was defective and had to be replaced within a few days. A month or so later, the secondary control panel had to be replaced as well.
Overall, however, a good product.

When you need to relax, putting the stress of the day behind you, do it in a Vista Spa. There is no doubt that you get what you pay for. The quality and attention to detail reminds me of a fine automobile. When you put the music on, and set the lights under the stars, you've entered another zone. A great spa, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a quality spa. Oh, and get the sound system... it speaks for itself!

Pros -The spa is nice, big, strong jets and over pretty good quality.
Cons-, blower motor went out 1st month, control panel problems and jet seals leaked. Not a good start to a new hot tub

I just so happened to purchase our HostSpring Vista hottup when I experienced a separated mass in my spinal column. I must have spent at least 5 hours a day in the spa. Now that I am healed, we use the Vista at lest 3-4 times a week. What a Godsend it is! I cannot imagine life without it.

Even though this is the first spa we ever owned we love it. Its nice to go out and get in when its dark then just sit back and relax and watch the stars. I couldn't believe the ease of maintainence on it. Filters are easy to change and adding chemicals is a breese. Any one looking to purchase a spa this is one that I would recomemd.

I have had a hot tub before from another company and I had nothing but problems. The HotSpring Vista is a GREAT tub. Its easy to use and very comfortable. I love the lounge and the seat I'm calling the Captians Chair that has a jet for your whole body including the wrist jets. I would recommend this tub to anyone.
