This Prodigy spa, is our second spa from Hot Springs. Our first one we had in Florida and we enjoyed it so much we had to have another one. We stuck with the brand we knew and trusted and are extremely pleased.We have enjoyed it even on snowy nights here in the Pocono region of Pa. We have sat in the spa many nights even with the temperature as low as -18F, and have enjoyed the warmth of our spa. I am pleased with the thermal efficency of thi unit,and have estimated that thru the winter it has only cost us about a dollar a day to maintain this unit. (And we use it about 5 nights a week and it is outside on our deck right in the weather.) Sign us as happy owners....

Hot Spring is by far, the best. I have a new Prodigy hot tub in Ocean City, NJ and bought one for my winter home in Venice Florida. The only problem I have is the new Prodigy I just bought in Florida has a horrible cradle system. Whenever I close it up, the cover gets caught in the mechanism. Very poor design and am somewhat shocked that you would make such an inferior product. This is my 4th hot tub. My first tub I had in Ocean City, NJ for 18 years had a better cradle as did the one I bought for up there. Just bought a new one in Venice Florida and the cradle system is new and is horrible. I bought it from Recreational Warehouse in Ft. Myers

Only had Prodigy tub for 2 weeks but so far so good. Jets put out nice pressure and the seats are actually comfortable. I like the ability to change the jet pressure throughout the tub depending on where you are sitting. The lighting is a nice touch as well.

We've had our Hot Spring salt water hot tub for a few months and use it almost every day. There is nothing so relaxing as time in the hot tub after pickleball, hiking, or other vigorous activities.

I’ve had a hot springs tub every state I’ve lived in since 1990. I waited 5 years in this state, since moving here. wish I would have done it sooner. Have several medical conditions this tub is so helpful. Love the prodigy cause it not as deep as the rest to climb in and out without assistance. I have the salt system and love it once you get it balanced.

We love this spa. We bought it used in 2021. It's perfect for our needs (2 adults). In the summer, we lower the temp and use it as a 'warm' tub. The rest of the year, it's a lovely hot soak before bed.
The only thing I wish it had was more options for the "summer" timer. I'd prefer 12 hours. Otherwise? Perfect.

Great tub - but the IQ Salt System is a Failure

I have owned a Hot Spring spa for nearly 20 years, replacing my older Sovereign with a new Prodigy just 3 months ago. From its installation, the IQ Salt System has not worked adequately. The Water Care screen provides false readings of the chlorine and PH level compared to that which I get from water tests. HS's customer service is NO HELP!

My Prodigy hot tub is less than a year old and has had constant issues with it. The instruction manual is iffy at best and every couple of weeks we get a new issue. The latest one basically makes the hot tub unusable where it just has a constant flashing res indicator and none of the troubleshooting steps in the booklet help. Anytime a service member needs to come out it is an $85 fee at the minimum. DO NOT spend the $17,000 for something like this; you'd be better getting a cheaper costco hottub. It would still have issues but you'd save $12,000.

We love our Prodigy. It fits our family of 5 just perfectly. We received it right before Christmas and use it two to three times a week. We love having our family in it because it’s a break from electronics. You can actually talk to your kids and they won’t be distracted.

My 1998 Hot Springs Prodigy is hands down the best hot tub I’ve ever owned! The perfect size, powerful jets, and easy maintenance make it an absolute dream. Whether I’m soaking to relieve stress or enjoying it with family, it never disappoints. The quality and comfort are unmatched—worth every penny! Highly recommend to anyone looking for the best in relaxation!

All in all, the spa is terrific, however, I purchased the Highline series supposedly for the ease of water maintenance. This is not the case as it is impossible to monitor water quality since the monitoring system has been a complete failure.

My dealer has gone over and above to help me solve this issue and continue to be there for me, Tampa Bay Spas is the best.

This is my second Prodigy spa. We love the way it looks and the seating is great too. The size is roomy for 2 adults and too cozy for 4. 5 people would be 2 adults and 3 children.The continuous circulation pump is a feature I wanted again so we got a 2024 model after having a 2010 model previously. The saltwater fresh system is an excellent innovation. The built in sensors are helpful but not 100% reliable.
The insulation is not as good as the salesman claimed. I turned the temperature down from 101 to 91 because we were going on vacation and in less than 18 hours it had dropped the 10 degrees with overnight outside temperature reaching 52.
One issue is that a lot of water collects along the top flat edges above the tub when the cover is on and the water becomes quite cold. They should have beveled the sides a little into the tub.
Overall, Hot Springs makes a very good quality ho t tub

Trouble at the very beginning with brown sludge

Hot tub delivered 9/12/2024 after filling and adding chemicals used it for 20 minutes The next time we used it 9/28 turned on jets and a slug brown foam came up in filter compartment.I have been trying to resolve with dealer "Coastal Spa" from 9/28 until 10/17 unable to use Hot Tub .
Reason given for my problems is that the manufacturers clean out Tub and flush out it and perhaps they didn't get everything out of hoses, I believe there is a connection with the Hot Tub having capabilities of having a salt system and a regular. The first Prodigy we had for 10 years and never a problem. Hopefully we do not have a defective Hot Tub and have to return for a replacement. Sorry I couldn't give a good rating at this time.

I walked into the showroom, and right off spotted the spa that would fit best on my patio. It has all the features of Highlife that I was looking for. Purchase process including financing was simple and I was out the door in 20 minutes. Day of delivery spa was up and running, temperature was just right the next morning. Six weeks later, water has remained balanced, easy to maintain with reminder prompts at regular intervals. I haven't had to add chemicals since start-up. Hop in for a soak before bed, and first thing at sun-up. My body has never felt better.
