I believe this is my third year and my second ace cell has just failed.. Dealer did not want to replace the first one but finally did. I am sure a replacement will not be given this time. Just refilled, cleaned filters, cleaned cell, added salt and all other chemicals that the local dealer instructed and still the ace system does not work. I am done. Don't let them tell you that they never had one fail in 5 years, just read the reviews.

We purchased our Vista Hot Tub last year and love it. My husband and I love the time we spend with our college kids in the spa. Our college kids love having their friends over and relaxing in the hot tub. We added a gazebo over it and use it year round. Keep up the good job on preparing high quality spas.

I have been a Hotspring customer for years having two Grande tubs. I just moved into a new home and purchased the Vista which looks pretty much like the same tub with a different seating configuration. So far we love it and everything is great. Getting into the tub from the front is a bit slippery as you must step into the lounge area so make sure you have good footing first. We love the new vista and highly recommend it.

I have a 2007 Vista in my backyard. I absolutely love it. I've owned 2 other high end brand hot tubs generally the same size but not nearly the same quality. I liked the looks and the comfort just as well in the other tubs but they both ended up requiring service again and again. The service/repairs needed eventually drove me to get rid of them within the first 3 years of ownership...I have owned this tub nearly 7 years and I couldn't be happier with the reliability of my Vista. It was expensive but it has shown me why over these years of trouble free use...Thanks Hot Spring!

We really enjoy using our hot tub outdoors during the cold evenings. It is so relaxing sitting in the warm water when the air temperature is below freezing. We have had it for one month and no issues yet. The wide variety of jet configurations suit the needs of different users nicely. The ACE system is great, I don't need to mess with chemicals which is one of the main reasons we purchased this brand of hot tub. The minimal energy usage was also a big factor in deciding to go with HotSpring too. LOVE IT!

I owned a Sovereign spa for 10 years. It was excellent and provided us with excellent service. But like everything else in life, its life span came to a close. So, we purchased our new Vista for 6 people- ACE System. The best product for your mind, body and soul. Everyone loves it and I am extremely pleased.

Awesome SPA for the following; Ample room for multiple persons, Multiple jets in each of the seat and lounge locations - nice because the water pressure can be adjusted. Love the salt water system however; difficult to get the water to level out with the chemicals. Salt cell needed to be replaced in 9 months of ownership (complete failure), very concerning because the cost to replace if not in warranty is extremely expensive! Energy costs are low, Lights are pleasing. Our dealer has been exceptionally GREAT at taking care of our questions, and servicing - just wish they did not charge us 50.00 for a service call after owning the unit 9 months (plus they wanted us to pre-pay for the svc call charge), in my book - for something as expensive as the Vista there should be a warmer understanding instead of keep milking a dead cow for more money. Recommendation; Redesign the SPA for better access - difficult for us older folks to hurdle over the controls to get in and out.
The volume of jets and the variety of seats with different therapy jets made this a very easy choice. We had trouble with the salt system but our dealer kept with it and replaced the first unit and we haven't had an issue since.

For the first year the several issues; 1. installed wrong, with leakage. eventually fixed 2. misprogrammed by techs, chlorine high, and subsequently all the jets eroded. 3. All jets replaced, now another leak. 4. Replacement pending.
Hopefully we will not go down the same road this year. I am not impressed thus far, but don't blame the company entirely. Their service vendors need more experience with the ACE system, otherwise the whole system spirals downwards, as outlined above. My advice, only use a vendor that actually knows how to use and program the ACE systems so you don't have corrosion or installation issues. I liken this to the useless electrician that installed my natural gas generator....

Had a spa many years ago. Full five year warranty with only one service issue, which was resolved no charge. Recommended to many people and when we moved and ready to purchase another, didn't consider another manufacturer. Have had many service issues. And, the five year warranty? Well, its partial now and charges to point we don't feel there is any warranty credit. Jet are still awesome, but for the price, do some research....

I have the HotSpring Vista with the ACE Saltwater system. Overall, this is a great hot tub so far. My family, friends, and I are all enjoying it very much. It looks great, feels great, it works well, and the care is easy.
If you are planning the location and placement of a Vista tub, I don't recommend placing it in a position where your steps will need to be on the front side of the tub (control panel side) because it seems to be difficult for people to get in and out of the tub there. On the front, there is just no good place to get a foot hold on the lounge chair during entry/exit -- and it can be slippery. However, if your steps can be on another side, there is no problem.
My only disappointment is that the big pumps add heat to the water during use. Living in a very warm climate, it is common for us to keep our hot tub heater very low (or completely off) in the summer, to enjoy a much longer refreshing soak at the end of a hot day. These big pumps do a great job for hydrotherapy, but the heat they generate is enough to bring the water temperature up too high for a long cool soak in the Summer. For example, our tub is under a pergola in a shady spot and we kept the heater set to only 95 degrees during the hottest part of this year. So, the water temperature each evening started out at about 95 or 96 degrees. Then, at night when we got in and ran the jets on high for 1.5 to 2 hours, the water temp would usually rise to 101, or higher, with no help from the sun or the heater. And, of course, it takes time for that much water to cool down again. That can be a bit frustrating -- especially if you have multiple family members who come home at different times and want to use the tub without it being too hot.
The jet pressure is really good, the ACE salt system is working well, the controls are very easy to learn, and the lighting system is a big hit with everyone. Overall, this is a great hot tub and we look forward to years of use.

Ace Salt system never works properly

I purchased this hot tub a year ago. The Ace system has never worked properly. It always gives a low salt reading, regardless of how much salt is in the water. I keep the water properly balanced. Today as I write this, I have just changed the water in the tub, the water is perfectly balanced, at 102 degrees, and after adding an appropriate amount of salt, it reads low. This system is a bust. I would not recommend this to a friend.

We have owned this hot tub for almost six years and it has been our best purchase we have ever made!! We almost got fooled by other brands with the large number of jets and mutliple 4 horsepower pumps...they all looked amazing until we got in to try them out and found they had no output power. Crazy! Now when I get into a hot tub, I want to actually feel the massage, right? The HotSpring hot tub surprised us...when we tried it out before buying, we were AMAZED at the output pressure with less pumps and jets. HotSpring knows what they are doing!! I will tell you that the maintenance on this tub has been VERY simple! The few times our Moto-massage slowed down, all we had to do was take out the filter and rinse it. That's it! We have never had any problems with our tub. IF we ever have to buy another one, I will not hesitate one moment...I WOULD 100% BUY a HotSpring tub AGAIN!!!

I have purchased a Vista Hot tub from Ohio Pools and Spas. I did my research and felt that this was one of the best tubs. Boy was I wrong This tub is not worth $11. The Salt system is always down it has other electrical problems and as far as service goes it stinks to. They made the sale I now have the hot tub but no one can seem to figure the problem out, nor can I ever get anyone here to work on it. They schedule a date and don't even show up. So I have a $ 11,000 water tank sitting on my patio. I would not never encourage anyone to buy one of these. Well not from here. I'm to the point now all I want them to do is come get this piece of junk out of here and refund my money.

Got this last Thursday. Awesome for old tired bodies. The jets are positioned perfectly for an invigorating massage. After an hour, it feels like I've been to a massage therapist. Highly recommend. Pricey but remember this truth: Since you can't take it with you...enjoy it here!
